Hi Tamara.  A couple of us TTC a boy have a question regarding Alfalfa.  We are taking it to try and increase pH (I am taking 6 a day from CD1 to O) but someone read in another post that it should be only taken during O as it can lower testosterone levels?  Would you please comment?  Thanks!

yes, back when I was ttc (2007), we thought alfalfa was the way to go.  However even though it raised pH we soon found that it lowered testoserone.  but only in the long run.  Taking it a few days around O should be ok.  Alfalfa was removed from the list because people just didn't understand this.  My dh took alfalfa around our attempt because it was the only thing that would raise is pH up to a 9
