I see not many intro posts get replies, but it felt like the genteel thing to do anyway.
I am a mom of 2, pregnant with my 3rd (and last, likely) baby. I have a son (almost 6) and a daughter (almost 2) and a mystery baby due in december.
I really like this site and have done a lot of reading here. Unbeknownst to me, I sort of swayed with my daughter because of a special diet I was on. When I saw that many of the things I was regularly getting or taking (eggs, cranberry, in particular) were linked to girl conceptions, I was really fascinated.
Anyway, I look forward to contributing and having discussions here. I am admittedly torn about #3 and what to hope for (not that it's up to me anyway!). I would personally slightly prefer another girl. The reason for that is that my first son is from a previous marriage and my husband is wonderful with him and to him and, not that I think that would change, but part of me fears that he'll feel displaced if a boy is born (he being my son). That's probably a crazy thought, right?
