Hi all Have just joined and am having a dating scan shortly but according to calculations I am due on the 1st Jan 2013!! We haven't told ppl yet (it's our 2nd baby-we have a boy who is 19 months) just waiting until 3 months has passed... Glad there is a forum for Jan :-)

Hi welcome!!! CONGRATS on oyur new baby!! I have my first scan on Wednesday of next week and it's my 3rd, I have two daughters and swayed for BLUE!

Hi hoping4hubby We tried to follow the shuttles method for a girl but it took us a while to fall pregnant and in the end I am pretty sure I conceived closer to ovulation than what is recommend for a girl- I did take calcium and magnesium tablets as well and we followed the tips on positions etc so at the moment I am just counting down the days and weeks until I know for sure! Have looked up about cvs- as I am 35 I may be eligible and that way I will know 100% what it is and dldo any potential abnormalities but the procedure looks painful and has risks - gotmy appointment tomorrow do asking more about it then How's it all going with you ?

haha didnt even realise you spelt it wrong till you said something, good trying not to think about my sway too much we went boy sway with shettles as well and the GI diet and a few other things. Like you just holding out to see if it worked or whether we have another pink angel on our hands. Hoping you get your pink result Oh and let us know how your cvs meeting goes.

Hi minimills No ultrasounds yet- got my bloodwork to do next week and then in about two weeks time it will be the first scan! Am hoping for a girl- have a little boy so would be great to have one of each- How is it all going for you?

Hi Hoping for hubby saw you were on line and just needed to talk- just got my TMPOB results and it came back boy. I am gutted and so upset. Told hubby and he thinks we should do the cvs test to know for sure

Hi f&t I'm sorry you didn't hear the results you wanted.. Not sure what to suggest because I've never used tmpob but I've read a lot of opposite results, boy results included. I did intelligender and got a boy reading and was sooo excited only to be crushed later on it was a girl. If you do cvs would it be only to find out gender and if it was indeed a boy would that result in termination? The reason I ask is because if it would not then you may consider the miscarriage risk because what if it was a girl and then something bad happened or it was a boy and something bad happened and the guilt ate you up? Can you do a private scan at 15-16 weeks, it's just 5 weeks after the earliest cvs. If it would cause it to be ended then maybe cvs is the right route? I too have considered cvs to determine gender with dd2 but couldn't bear risking the miscarriage. I did end up with a girl but she's my rainbow baby and cured my GD... And I assure you that did not come easily and I never thought it would happen to me.. Just want to give you a ray of sunshine when GD can be oh so dark. Big, big hugs!!!!
