I have the same question. I'm not quite sure that it is ok because it contains a lots of sugar. Look what I have found:

"The majority of fruits are alkaline forming and therefore are an optimal food to eat on a high-alkaline diet. Fruits that are exceptionally alkaline are dried figs, raisins and watermelons. Common fruits such as grapes, kiwis, pears and apples are also high alkaline-forming foods, but bananas and plums are slightly acid-forming foods. Canned fruit is acid-forming and should be avoided on a high-alkaline diet.

Hi !! congrats in your boy!! I have not tried canned fruits yet but they  just seemed so much convinient when your on the go.Im kinda freaking out because I  have been strickly on the boy diet for about 8 weeks and  i just saw that chef boyardee tomato meat ravioll which i have been eating at least 3 x a week contains a small portion of  milk. I  Hadn't noticed because it said "tomato raviolli".Any extra info on this ?? Does anyone think it will greatly affect my boy sway?? Im doing all 7 factors ....

Blueshell; I have been wondering the same thing about oatmeal. I am guessing the flavored oatmeals are a no-no because they contain added sugars, but I wonder if the regular, non-flavored ones would be ok. And if the oats itself are ok,  I would think the oatmeal itself should be prepared with water instead of milk. Does anyone have any input on the oatmeal?!

For the peaches, I buy the kind packed in 100% fruit juice. Dole makes little packaged fruit cups ( peaches, pears, pineapple) in 100% fruit juice.....NO syrup or artificial sweeteners. I would think this should be ok on the boy diet as it is all fruit and fruit juice only...anyone please correct me if I'm wrong!

Thanks, Tamara! Blueshell- best of luck with your blue attempt!! Did you end up avoiding the canned fruits/oatmeal then? I LOVE eating oatmeal for breakfast, but I think I will hold off once I start the diet ( DH and I agreed to ttc#2 next Spring, but part of me wants to start NOW.....already getting excited about a sibiling for my little girl). What did/do you eat for breakfast while swaying? I need some more breakfast ideas lolStick out tongue
