Any lady who know from which ovary she is pregnant, please come on.

I love members here as they are so cooperative and helpful.

I am a mother of two lovely daughters and I am trying to get a boy.

Unfortunately , I do not know from which ovary I had my girls

. Because there is a theory said that ovary side has a role in determining baby sex.

Right ovary is for males while left is for female

As we know , every month woman ovulate from one of her two ovaries.

I want to know from which ovary you are pregnant and what is baby kind you have now and for your previous babies .

Let's start to approve or cancel this theory.

Hi Coffee i was like you with my first 2 girls i didnt know which side i ovulated and now am pregnant with my 3rd baby (boy as i was told in 2 ultrasound) i did sway and i was sure i ovulated from the right side . Good luck

Hello Coffee, There is a lot of evidence about it that pregnancy when right ovary ovulates 'mostly' leads to boys. 1) Ramzi's theory proves it. About 500 posts on this board have shown that if placenta is on right side, it is mostly a boy. This is famous as 'nub theory' 2) About six years ago, I led a discussion on alternating ovulation pain between two cycles and gender of baby, and concluded the same. internet is full of information that ovaries do take their turns alternately. Those who have only one ovary, slowly adopts to work both ways. 3) More recently, the PreGender test, which is based on alternating hormonal environment in two consecutive menstrual cycle, clearly proved it by giving scientific evidence behind it. We are planning to take it to conceive a girl. GLTY

Hi, i'm ovulated fron right side in 3 times, and had 3 boys. Now i'm very sure that i avulated from left side, and have another baby boy. So i think this theory don't work for me.

Don't know ovary with dd1 but she implanted on right and she's a girl. Dd2 I O'd from right she implanted on right and she's a girl too.

The side you get O pains on can be misleading as it is not always the side your body actually O on. You really need to have it confirmed by u/s.

This pregnancy, I had it confirmed by u/s at 6 weeks that I O from the L) ovary. I don't know what I am having.

I think I O on the R) side with DS1 but it was not confirmed with u/s. DS2 was a complete surprise, so no idea with him!

I only have one ovary (the left one) and have two girls and one boy. 

Good point TTC. I meant to mention that in my post...that I had heard women with only 1 ovary can conceive both genders, but I forgot.

Don't know with the first two. The last one I had pains on the left and corpus luteal (sp?) cyst on the left so we're pretty sure that's what it was and she was a girl. A friend of mine had her left ovary removed when she was young and she had all boys, three of them.

My last pregnancy I o'd from the right side (confirmed by u/s) and he was a boy :)  I remember having pain on my right side with my first DS and when they looked on the u/s I remember there being a cyst but they didn't say much about it, so I can't be 100% sure on that one.  I'm pretty sure both DS's were from the right, completely sure about one!

I ovulated from my right side with both my boys this was confirmed with early ultrasound. I havent had an ultrasound with this baby yet but I am really eager to find out.

In 2011, I ovulated from Left ovary and it was a girl, then in 2012 I ovulated from right and I do not know if it was boy or girl because I lost the baby..!!

Just an update...I mentioned that this pg it was confirmed I O from my L ovary. And I have just found out it is a girl!

I think the theory is a little flawed I only have one ovary (my left) due to a ectopic and after my ectopic I have conceived 4 boys.
