Ultrasound Monday *update - it's a boy*

 Hoping the baby cooperates!! I'm expecting to hear boy but I go back and forth on what I think it is. I thought boy all along at first, then starting thinking maybe girl, but now I'm thinking boy again. I want to do a cute gender reveal but honestly if it's another boys I don't really feel like making the effort. It just seems kind of pointless and not very exciting to announce another boy. 

 Hope you hear girl.

Munky...you absolutely should do a cute reveal for a boy!! If this is a boy, get excited...make a big deal over it! I have a feeling you're worried about other people - don't be!! If you get excited, they will, too!! Good luck on Monday... Hoping you hear girl!! XX

I was just gonna say the same thing. Just because you are having another boy doesn't mean you can't be excited and have a party for him. 

I didn't have a baby shower or anything for the same reason you are thinking now, and BOY OH BOY, do I regret it.. He is SO special and wonderful now!!   I am so angry at myself that I missed out on all that excitement about MY new BABY,  just because it was "another boy"....

Throw a party, Be excited!!  It's YOUR CHILD!!!

Wishing you luck! And I agree with the other ladies, get excited about your baby and not the gender! I know it may be hard but sometimes you fake it til you make it and that also helps quell any negative comments because if they see how excited you are then they'll be excited too!

 Thanks I know I'll be excited it just doesn't seem nearly as exciting, it's not even everyone's reaction if it is a boy. I only had a small shower with my oldest, it was just my brothers wives, one of their moms, my mom and step mom. I didn't do anything for #2 (team green that time), that's just how I am, I don't want a shower/party boy or girl. I guess we'll see soon!

I picked up blue and pink ribbon and tulle today to wrap a bow around my belly. I'll stop and get the balloons on the way home tomorrow so I can get a pic for my reveal 

How cute. Good luck. I hope you hear what you want to hear and if you dont I hope you are able to find some excitement for your wee bundle of joy. I completely understand how you feel.

 BOY #3  [:'(]

 I am more upset than I thought I would be. I teared up but didn't cry until my regular appointment afterwards when my midwife came in and asked how I was doing. Then I cried through the whole appointment and way home. I didn't feel like stopping to get balloons or do anything. Then we came home and my DH told his mom who was watching our boys that they were going to have another brother and the 4 year old said no, I want a girl. [:'(]

I have writing on here countless times how special my DS3 is and how blessed I am to have him. My eldest wanted a girl as well when I was pregnant with DS3. They all play together and love each other so much. It will get better I promise.

congrats on 3 of a kind! i know you really wanted a girl. i know the disappointment of hearing that same gender over and over but my 3 were the 3 musketeers! my first husband wasn't around much so it was me and my 3 angels. i know right now you are sad but as the weeks go by you will start to feel better, think of a name and go shopping it really does help. by the time he's in your arms you won't want him to be a girl anymore, he will be perfect just he way he is. congrats again.
