I don't post often on Ingender anymore (who has the time with a 6 month old!!)  but am still thankful for the ladies who were supportive of me when I was struggling to carry a baby to term and especially to those who were supportive when I was miscarrying.  So my subject is Wild News (there is one of you out there who might know where this is going!!!)  My Brett is 6 1/2 months and makes me smile and laugh every day.  My older son has become the most protective and best older brother there is.  Cannot tell everyone what a pleasure it is to have an older child who can actually help with a baby.

So what is WG's Wild News - she is pregnant with a GIRL!!!  I conceived right before the baby turned 4 months old (and no I had not had a period).  At first I was very frightened that this would end in another miscarriage but truly believe that this is God's work.  Ultrasound on Thursday confirmed that my little one is in fact a girl and everything looks good, right length, etc.  Already did CVS and it was good also.

I posted this primarily for other MMs who think that there dreams will never come true.

But sometimes they do.  Now how I am going to handle a baby who is about a year and a newborn is beyond me and I will concede my marriage has been in better shape but I leave this all up to the Lord to take care of me.

MMs do not be afraid to pursue your dreams because once in a while - mother nature and God work together to fulfill those dreams.

To all of you who have posted.  I am doing fine.  Do not have one spare moment to my name.  I have no clue how I am going to handle 3 in the not too distant future.  My DH wants to work outside the US and does not seem to care that he has a wife and about to have 3 children.  We are trying to work our way through this.  I am disgusted with his attitude which is - you are a professional - you can work too!!!  Have any of you thought that taking care of a house, a baby, an almost teen and being pregnant is not hard work?  Really - please tell me if I am wrong.  I honestly cannot tell if this is just my hormones or a very big bump in our road.

The baby is walking - not cruising - flat out walking and into everything - I have 5 gates in the house and with my luck he will be climbing them soon.  My almost teenage son helps a lot - more than I ever dreamt and seems to be able to amuse the baby at all times - sometimes even more than me.  Now the baby seems to want a sippy cup and not me - boo hoo.

I really feel like a Mature Mama these days and one who is short of patience.

Anyone else out there feel this way?

To you Lady - welcome back to the U.S.  - did you miss it?
