Maybe I haven't. But my husband did with our first when she was a girl. He was devastated. He couldnt believe it. I just don't understand it. I'm sure it's very real

there are many other pregnancy/conception boards online. I dont believe in abortion but wouldnt go and hang out in a forum where people were talking about it to put my point of view across, im not sure how you found your way here.

I 'found my way here' because I put my scan picture up as I was wondering the sex of my baby for fun. I'm sure thats allowed? I then proceeded to have a look through other posts to compare and stumbled across this one. I meant to harm or offence in what I said, just to be happy for a healthy baby. Although im sure she doesnt need to be told that

GD is very real and it does not mean that you don't love your children of the opposite gender-it simply means you also have a strong desire to have the other gender as well and there is nothing wrong with that.I would not trade my boys for anything and I live them every bit as much as my daughter and this board is for women with GD so not really sure why those who don't have it are here..to the OP congrats on your baby,be it girl or boy!!

I didn't once suggest that it meant you didn't love your children! Now words are being put into my mouth. And Im here because it was recommended on another site for nub reading. I had noticed there was a gender disappointment forum which i don't go on, but i thought this was ultrasound gender prediction?

I totally agree. Most of the time, we do not have so many children as to see how the 50/50 probability applies. One of my best friends, mother of 8, had 4 girls in a row and then 4 more boys (the two youngest are twins)… When I met her she had 3 girls, was pregnant with a baby girl and she thought her body could not conceive a boy!!

I meant I agree with the Cristal713 post on 5 May… (sorry, I am new in the forum). Joanna, congratulations for your latest girl prediction. A big hug!

LOL, this board is not only a Gender Disappointment site, get your facts straight and realize you're currently in a gender determination thread. Ultrasound prediction is a BIG part of this site! Those who don't suffer from GD obviously don't venture into the other sections of this site.

Wondering if we will ever get an update from JoannaK.  I'm guessing not.....

No never and I doubt we will either. She is also on gender dreaming and has never updated there in over a month even though she has had her gender scan and has been online nearly every day since(yesterday being the latest). Makes me think she has heard boy but doesn't want people to say I told you so. She's hardly gonna come back and say "You guys were all right" when she took it so badly when people asked her to be cautious as 14 weeks was very early. I'd imagine if it was a girl she'd come back on either site with a gender scan which was set for the 31st May to prove us all wrong.

I hope she comes back to update, I wouldnt think anyone would say I told you so. I just hope she has realized no one was out to attack her we just didnt want her to be disappointed. Hope everything is okay, Joanna!

Thanks anonymos- I will certainly do that lol. Next scan is 21st of June, so the count is on!

And she hasnt had her scan yet. Fingers crossed for you Joanna, 3 more days!
