Firstly, thank you in advance for taking a look! This ultrasound was from 16w1d. It was done at a private 3d/4d ultrasound place. The tech did not seem super experienced and the baby was not very cooperative, but the tech said BOY. My intuition was telling me boy as well, but these shots looks very different from most of the gender shots I see. Most are taken from the butt looking up through the legs. These look like they are taken from the belly looking down. So I wonder if the protrusion is the umbilical cord attaching to the belly? The tech DID say that the umbilical cord was between the legs, so that is another thing that makes me skeptical. Also, I just see a bump, not a distinct penis and scrotum like I did with my first son's scanned. What do you think? Is this really a boy?
I have my anatomy scan in 2 weeks so hopefully I will get confirmation then! Thanks to all who look and share their thoughts! :-)
