BFP Update...It's a GIRL!!

So just a quick update...I had my 20 week scan and it is a girl! DH doesn't even know, or know that I know, so now I have to keep it a secret from everyone!! I asked the OB to write it down in case we changed our mind about finding out the gender. He just stapled the piece of paper together at the sides so when I was alone I held it up to the light and could read 'Baby a GIRL'. Very excited and love having my special secret. DH thinks it is another boy, so he is goingto be blown away in November!

That's so exciting Peony. Congratulations!!! I wish you luck keeping your secret. I'm sure that I would slip up. Did you end up posting your sway? I'd love to have a look at it. We are going to TTC at the end of the year and I've just been using each cycle to get to know my CM and body. Hoping to do a true 0+12 attempt. Haven't started diet or anything yet as am not sure I could maintain it for very long and I think that I will just avoid all the big no, nos and reduce salt, red meat  etc because working FT and cooking for my family makes it hard to do separate meals. So I will just follow the diet as best I can, concentrate on supplements and 0+12 timing. Best wishes  for the remainder of your pregnancy. I REALLY hope to be in your position soon. xo

Thank you notdoneyet. I feel bad as I keep saying I will post my sway and I still haven't yet! I'm 28 weeks now and there always seems to be other things that take priority, like work and all the nesting I have been doing! I have written myself a note to remind me, so hopefully the next time I have some spare time I will not forget it.

I am very excited about this little girl, but have had to stop buying things for her as I ended up stressing DH would find them. They are now in a box in our storeroom (along with plenty of others)! It is so hard pretending to come up with boy names too as I just want to think of girl names!!
