Linea nigra is related to gender (true or false)

 I just came across a belly pic of mine from DS1 at 36 weeks. I guess I don't remember much, but I did have a line on top. Both lines are straight so it was right for me. 

Here is my belly pic at 23 weeks with DD2.

Never had a line with dd1, with dd2 I had a straight line top to bottom! I had nearly gone all the way now at one year

I almost believed this theory if it wasn't for your post.

Since I have the line with both pregnancy, I think I'm likely to get it with every pregnancy so I pray that I will be blessed with a son next to proof this theory one way or another.

So far this theory holds true for ones with top and bottom lines except for babybleux32.

We'll need more responses from ladies with lines to test this further.
