Bambino that is great news! I hope to find myself in the same position in 12 days time when I have my NT scan. I really want a boy too, I imagine you must be over the moon. JoannaK try not worry too much (easier said then done - I know) but everything looked great at your scan and everything is pointing to a girl, when is your next scan?

Next scan is Thursday the 10th... counting down again! But I'm starting to think more and more that the scan won't be necessary, I think I'm looking at my 5th boy here...... Everybody on my other threads is saying boy, none of them are confident and that is so frustrating- they also can't tell me (most of them anyway) where in the video they can see a nub... Very frustrating- and will mean that I'll have to completely redo the nursery, I was starting to get pink things because i was just SO SURE that this baby was a girl... :(

hi joanna, why are you letting some guesses ruin your happiness of yesterday? i couldnt see the nub, but you saw it and were confident even if not, its still 50%/50% so please, enjoy the 10 coming days!

Thanks bambino (5 more days to go actually!) I don't know why I rely so much on everyone's opinions- As much as I would love this child just as much if he were a boy, I think I would struggle more, because my last baby (the Triploid baby) was a boy- I know it's stupid and doesn't make any sense, it's hard either way, gender shouldn't matter, I just think I'd struggle

Hey guys, and bambino in particular, wanted to update you: After 10+ SURE guesses of boy and NO girl guesses, this bub is a GIRL........ You read that right, a GIRL.... My obstetrician is 80 % sure- and I know him very well now (my third bub with him now) and he NEVER says something unless he's very sure. He knew my son was a boy at 11 weeks, so I really trust his judgement. And he spent at least 30 minutes just staring and rechecking, so we're pretty sure!! I can get back to decorating my pink room!!!!!! I just still can't believe it, i can't wait for my boys to have a little sister to protect!!! I'm going to try to upload an image for you all to see of a tiny bit of the nursery so far.... I love shabby chic stuff!!

Very cute finds for the nursery Joanna.  I love shabby chic and feminine stuff as well.  Unfortunately, my 7 year old dd has always been more of a "funky" kind of a girl, that loves zebra stripes and such, so I don't really get to take advantage of all the pretty pastels and flowers. :( HeHe

SO HAPPY for you!! you were so convinced it was a girl, i dont know why you would suddenly doubt it like that and drive yourself crazy! are you at 14w now? i wish i had my ultrasound now, to know for sure. My tech is trained, he wouldnt say a guess just like that, but i can find the force to believe it yet. not untill may 22. i am very happy for you.

Joanna congratulations! That is so exciting! I agree, you are so lucky to find out this early, what a little blessing. :)

Joanna, that is fantastic news! So so happy for you. Massive congratulations. I feel so behind the rest of you. My NT scan isn't for 6 days and the wait is killing me. Some of you have had two scans already. I'll soon catch up. Baby has implanted on my right side ( had ultrasound at 6+3), really praying I've got my boy. So far it appears people are getting the gender they desire, I'm so happy for all you guys. Hoping there is enough blue dust left for me. Enjoy your pink shopping JoannaK!!
