people frustrate me lately

So as most of you know, i just had my anomaly scan and was told 95% girl by a very experienced tech ( i think the exact one that told me 99% boy nearly 8.5 years ago) - I am SURE i seen all girl parts, nothing danging, no swollen lumps and no shadows as my scan was VERY clear.

however, now i have people coming up to me and asking what im having, only to go on and on and ONNNNN about how many "girls" have come out boys lately and how wrong ultrasounds can be and etc...

I get that they're trying to be nice and prepare me for the possibility, but they're ruining my joy... they're making me doubt everything i saw and making me worry like crazy that im going to be one of those mom's that gets a "surprise" on the day of delivery.

I'm starting to feel anticipated GD all over again.........

they're even saying shit to my mom and now she's kind of holding off on buying much pink... this aggravates me so much. The worst part is when the tech made the cd she forgot the nice clear girly 3 line shot, it was on the screen but apparently the photo didn't make it on the cd.... so now i have nothing to look at to reassure myself.

The pic i posted is of a pic i found online that is damn near IDENTICAL to what we saw on the screen but didn't get a photo of. The only difference is that this picture looks cropped or something where as we saw BOTH thighs/legs and the \|/ in the middle, no swelling, just the lines.

 Try not to worry!  I was exactly where you are...found out "girl" after 3 boys but I didn't have any good shots of it!  Thankfully those around me were happy and didn't throw bad stories in my face, though.  I had a total of 3 ultrasounds where the tech saw girl, and sometimes I did too, yet I never got a good picture for various reasons.  My 4 month old DD is sleeping in my lap as I type this!  She's definitely all girl.  I think the most important part is a good, experienced tech, which sounds like yours is.  Congrats!

well the same tech has told other girls i know that they were having a girl and only given them percentages of like 60/70% and it turned out to be a girl every time... so im assuming my 95% that she gave me is as close to 100 as she will go

 so that's good...sounds like she is conservative and doesn't say things if she's not sure.  I know it's so hard not to worry about it when you've wanted a gender so badly.  I didn't actually worry too much about the gender being wrong, though it was one of the first things I asked when she popped out.  But I worried about something else being wrong, or losing the baby.  It's just so hard to believe that you can actually be getting your dream!  Hang in there.

oh i am too lol, i bought a listening device yesterday after a friend of mine just had her baby at 6 months (still born) so that's been o the back of my head alot lately too...
