Please help wrong ultrasound...feel like i lost a son : (

I am a mother of three daughters 6, 4, and 2. I am prego with my 4th baby. I of course was praying for a baby boy. I was told at my 16week ultrasound and 21week ultrasound it was without a doubt a boy. big penis and all. those are the words i have been waiting to hear for 6 years....ITS A BOY. evrything is blue and so many cloths bought.....and now at my 32 week ultrasound i am being told it is without a doubt a girl! ITS A GIRL! what! i am sooooo sad i feel as tho i have lost a son.....im not ok right now. please someone help : ( I have included my ITS A BOY image at 16 weeks and now my ITS A GIRL image at 32 weeks

I dont see anything that would indicate any gender to be honest... i haven't even a single clue what the heck all the arrows are pointing at in these pics. Did you post them in the ultrasound forum? there are experienced techs in there that would be able to have a better look/opinion on the photos. IMO a tech that needs to use THAT many arrows to point to the "gender" doesn't seem that experienced.

 oh honey, i cannot even pretend to know how your feeling, but i do know the pain of being missexed at 16 weeks, and not finding out until week 33! your story sounds exactly like mine, but they said i had a girl, turned into a boy :) stay strong, i have actually heard of 20 week ultrasounds being wrong, in the wrong possition, a squshed scrotum looks like labia .. perhaps you will get your dream boy after all. hugs to you. 

I imagine youve posted in the ultrasound prediction forum, did a tech confirm girl for you? Do you have any pics of your 20 week boy scan at all? Neither of your 16 week pics seem to show a clear gender, and as far as i can see neither do your girl ones. Id try to get a private gender scan, somewhere well established and experienced in gender determination, then you can find out for sure.

Hi Southernwife, I had my 20+5day anomaly scan yesterday and was told it's a girl. I was absolutely shocked and speechless as I had swayed boy and was absolutely convinced since conceiving I was carrying a boy! My pregnancy this time round is completely different, different cravings, positively expecting to be hearing it's a boy at the scan. The tech didn't show me the genitals but has written in my notes that they appear normal. Just want to hear from you how likely is it that she got it wrong? I have 2 beautiful girls and hubby n I are much longing for a lil boy to join our family! Praying and wishful thinking every moment that tech got it wrong somehow?! Thanks!
