Hi, I don't belong on this forum. I am nowhere near rising above my GD - unless you count today being the first day I didn't wake up crying since my scan Wednesday. Since I'm tearing up now and I've only been up 45 minutes, I'm not sure it counts.

I am looking for sites with parenting tips, forums, links to vendors of unique boy clothes, etc. I'd really love to find sites that are not religious. I wasn't religious before and certainly won't be now. Devil

I never wanted boys - was hoping for Baby Bear Girl in 2012, but I'M TAKING WHAT I'VE GOT! Heartbroken

I can't answer your question, but, I wanted to send you a massive hug. Take your time to work through your feelings, keep talking on here, or to me if you like? It helps to acknowledge how you feel before you can move on so don't put any pressure on yourself to be getting better asap.

Here if you need to chat

Good question.  I just googled "moms of boys" b/c I've been longing for a forum too and found this: http://www.momsofboys.org/  Didn't read much but it doesn't look religious at first glance.

I agree that it helps to let yourself feel sad.  There is a loss involved.  When I was pregnant with DS1 and had GD, it changed once he was born.  GD did not go away completely but it changed signficantly and I cared a lot less.  Now with DS2, I still get moments when I realize what I may miss out on by not having a daughter and I let myself feel sad.  Then I look at him and remind myself I'm also lucky.

Hugs. Happy

I spent most of my pregnancy looking for lovely boy clothes as I HATE blue, especially baby blue, and I am not a fan of pastels in general, or dump truck appliques, or "Mums Little Monster" tshirts and all that junk. I love European labels like Smafolk, Molo, ej sikke lej, liandlo etc Other labels I love are Kate Quinn Organics, Speesees, Baby Soy, Kicky Pants and DwellStudio. You can get some lovely clothes for boys which aren't your usual - I get so many compliments on how cool my boys clothes are :)

Mother to Baby Boy (2006) and Baby Boy (2012)

Pretty sure we will TTC #3, but now wouldn't mind adding another Baby Boy, Little Mr 2012 cured my GD.
