4 losses in a row?! Seriously?

Who goes through this? i am living in a nightmare. all I want is another baby! We thought it was low progesterone so I was giving myslef 250 mg injections twice a week as soon as I found out I was pg with this one. the baby stopped developing at 6 wks. Like everything is going along fine, then abrubtly stops. I dont now what else to do!! I am so incredibly frustrated. It is such a heartbreak that I never thought in a million yrs I would experience. Any advice would be appreciated! I am seeing a great fertility specialist, but sometimes I wonder.....what am I missing? Now I am just waiting to miscarry....it has been almost 2 weeks and so far, nothing has happened.

have you asked the doctors to run some tests? sometimes i could be something simple like clotting disorders, s simple shot would clear that up. r u swaying? or taking a suppliment that may not agree with your body? im so sorry for your loss. hugs

Hi 5CM.....thankyou so much for responding. t has been a difficult last week. i am stll processing everything. I know you out of anybody I know completely understands what my mind and heart are going through. I have accepted the loss and I am writing a gratitude journal daily, writing what I am thankful for in my life. there is so much to show thankfulness in. It is helping my heart. I know I wont be in this state of sadness forever. we have decided to put all this TTC business aside for a while. i think my body is so so tired. I am still waiting to miscarry. that is so frustrating! I need some closure. I would have been 10 wks tomorrow which is exactly how many weeks I was when I m/cd last August. So weird. So I wait. Meanwhile, the kids have no idea I was even pg. They still need to be taken care of so I ijust keep moving forward in my daily busy life. Newbaby2011: thank you for responding. I have been thinking of you too. Are you still in the hospital? Ive been praying little boy stays in his mama for as long as possible! You are so strong. yes, I have been running tests since Dec. yhe thing that came up was deficiency in vit. D and progesterone, so I was on supplements and then as soon as I got pg, I gave myself progest injections twice a week. he had me on baby aspirin. But to my knowledge, the doc never did a clotting test. I am going to ask to see, but I have a feeling that is the problem, although carrying a pg to full term has never been a problem. Could I have developed a blood clot disorder? His next step of action is to put me on Heparin, whether I have a blood clot thing or not. I am so exhausted and want off the roller coaster for a while. Emotionally, it is so draining.

I didnt really sway.....by this time we just wanted a healthy baby. We would love another girl, but our perspective changed and it doesnt matter. Every baby is such a gift! i totally took my fertility for granted, how easily I have had babies! I took cranberry and drank Crystal light, but I did all that when I swayed for our DD. this has been a really sad, incredible journey, since we started TTC last April and we still dont have a baby.

Sometimes a busy life is a blessing to take ones emotions away for a tiny while.Take extra good care of yourself.I hope things start to happen so you can start to heal.Sometimes there are no answers.This frustrates me all the time.I mean there has to be an answer especially when it happens again & again.I guess there is an answer but maybe science is yet to find out more.

 I am going through a similar experience as you, got preg really really easy with the first four, then have lost two at 7 and 8 weeks.  I also thought it was low progesterone and they gave me supplements, but I started to bleed yesterday.  So sad and frustrating, I am spotting but am waiting for everything else to come.  I also never thought I would go through this, you are not alone!

Hi En Pointe...I am so sorry about your losses. it is so frustrating. Thanks for responding. How was today? My miscarriage finally happened over the weekend. After waiting over 3 weeks, I was ready for it to just be over with so I can move forward. Where are you in CO? I had an ultrasound yesterday and the doc said I would not need a D&C thank goodness and that in a month or so, he is going to do a full blood work panel on specifially clotting issues. I have been seeing this doc since Dec and he is just now thinking this? after I asked him that it may be possible that I have a clotting disorder?! he said he didnt do it at first because I have had 4 normal healthy pregnancies. That is what is so frustrating! i just never thought this could be my life, of trying to figure out why suddenly my body is rejecting pg, all right around 6-7 weeks. Were you doing progesterone inj or suppositories? It is all so sad. keep me posted on how you are doing and what you are discovering in your journey. I really thought this time around, I would be fine.

 We are in Aurora where are you?  I am not passing things as quickly as I would like to be, I just want it out!  I go for and ultrasound on friday so hopefully I will have made enough progress.  I am really bummed out it just sucks that this keeps happening.  I am the same both of the babies stopped around 6 weeks and I start to miscarry around 8.  Why is your doctor going to wait a month to do the full blood work up?  My doctor says that he will do it now that I have lost two (I guess they usually wait until 3 miscarriages).  My Doctor said that he doesn't think that the blood will show anything because of the four healthy preg I have had, but he will check.  He thinks it is old eggs (makes me feel great)  I guess he said that something that can be done is to go on a low dose of clomid to help produce more eggs and then hopefully one will be good!  (I am 38 1/2 now).  I started to take oral progesterone and my body responded great, because my progesterone is now low normally (I guess another great age thing!)  So I feel the same, frustrated, I guess I never thought I would be here, but I guess it is humbling.  I know what you mean about this time around, I guess I thought it wouldn't happen again!  Keep me posted on your journey also, if you feel like it we could exchange e-mails. I am in Denver. Small world! I wuld love to email you. i couldnt get on IG the other day, which is frustrating because I was intending to post a response much sooner. how was your ultrasound Friday? My fertility specialist doc is waiting for a month because I was so close to miscarrying and he thought my pg hormones would interfere with the results. When I began seeing him, I already had 2 m/cs. i dont know why he didnt check then. he said because I had 4 healthy pgs, he didnt think it was possible to now have a blood clotting issue. it doesnt hurt to check....I dont know why he didnt. and I didnt know until I started to research stuff. eems like a common denominator. I am also 38, but the doc never indicated he thought it was an age thing. He checked my tubes and ovaries and all looked good. How are things progressing for you? I am so sorry you are going through this!! I too am experiencing something similar. I am 35 had no trouble conceiving all 3 of my kids. Although, on the last one it had been 11 years since I had a baby and I miscarried once right before her, I still got pregnant on one try with all three children. I even went several years without a period, was 33 and still got pregnant that easy, all I had to do was ovulation tests to find when that was happening! Now, all of the sudden on this past pregnancy that we have planned for so long, I cannot carry and baby at all (have had at least 2 miscarriages in a row) and am having great difficulty in even getting pregnant. I even had a clearly positive result on a home test only to go in the next day for a blood test to find it was negative =(. Please know that although your situation is unique, you are not alone!
