ttc boy July 2012

Hi all...anyone want to join here. I am ttc from this July and hoping for a blue bean this time. On diet and some supplements. Anyone want to share some tips and motivation. Oh and some blue dust too!

Thanks...good luck to you too. Wow time flies....need to chart temp, practice the egg white with IC and afcourse finger bs. I guess these are most important and for prayers ofcourse.

 Good luck to you. We will also be trying this summer for a baby boy. We have started the IG diet and supplements a month ago, but are still getting all the equipment ready for practicing MSU. So far, we have only practiced looking at the spermies through the microscope. DH also promised to build an incubator, which I hope he will be able to finish this weekend.

Let me know how your practice runs with egg whites go. Do you have a digital pH tester?

Thanks and wish you the same. I am going to go the Normal way not MSU. Just did a first test with 5 ml EW and all looks good, no leaking at all. That's nice you are building incubator. I do have a digital ph tester and ph is still 6.74. I still need to buy the buffer solution so I can retest correctly. Did not BSF yet. Have to start it one of these days. Got False unicorn, but have to refer how exactly should I use it, like if I can mix it in juice or if has to be had undiluted. Any clue on this?

 suelovestohaveab, I also did not start with the BSF yet. I will only start on the actual month that we will do our attempt. I will then be doing it 3x a dayfrom af to O. With the false unicorn - it just comes in capsules, so you take 2 capsules 2x a day, so 4 pills total. I just take mine with the lemon water, since I drink a ton of it anyways.

Hmm... I got the liquid dropper bottle of false unicorn so guess have to either mix it with OJ or just gulp it. Lemon water have to start that...maybe mix some stevia along or ita going to be hard for me :-C

Hi there! We're also going to start to sway in July and probably until around November....hoping it won't take us that long though! LOL I don't want to go longer than that if we're unsuccessful because we tried for 6 months last year and by then the whole thing got very stressful and overwhelming...I know it wasn't doing DH and I any continue like that much longer without taking a little break. Anyway, I continued following the boy diet (although not as strict as I was while swaying) and taking the supplements, just started kicking it up 4 weeks ago to make sure I'm as good and ready as possible when July rolls around.

 I need to start practicing again using IC cups with the EW because I always found myself making a mess with it Any tips anyone has to help minimize the mess would be greatly appreciated!

Hi VetsWifey09...good luck to you. Are you going Normal way or EGS. Maybe you are using more EW. Are you putting EW in Instead cup?

Hi Sue -- we're going the natural route. I've tried different things....I tried using less EW than what's recommended - still made a mess. I tried adding the EW into the IC and then inserting AND I've tried inserting EW using syringe and then inserting IC to keep EW from spilling out...mess, mess, mess! I know I need practice, last year I gave up using the EW the last 2 tries and just stuck with preseed. Not the same especially when trying to raise my PH but I was so annoyed with all the mess I found it easier to go that route instead.

Preesed sways girl...I used it cause I was dry but later came to know its for ttc girls. You can use the syringe they give for preseed and take about 3 ml EW and insert deep. Keep Ic And leave upto time to dtd. Atleast I plan to do this. Hope it works foryou.

I am also trying ttc boy in July.Just started my supps and diet today. I had two failed attemts last year with egs-msu.  Had to break for a couple of months bc I felt like I was loosing it with so much drama on the thermometer and ew sinking and being totally afraid I was going to overcook the spermies !! I gained about 10 lbs and had to get back to starting weight for healths sake. Finally lost weight so here we go again. Last time got very stressful for me too so im thinking about tbm this time around. Ive checked some of the stats and they seem promising with tbm.I am sooo not looking foward to that atrocious boy diet !! 

Hi Blueshell..welcome to the july group. Hope tbm works for you. I totally understand the diet issue, myself having hard time to say no the cheese pizza etc...I cheat at times thinking I still have time ;-)

 lol me too!! but im seeing that a lot of foods that i was avoiding the last time ARE allowed. I think posting some of or  sample  daily diets for ttc boy is a great idea!!!!  That way we can all see different ways of preparing foods and still adhere to the diet guidlines!!

hi ladies, just wanted to say good luck to you! in the gender swaying forum you find the "ttc in May" tread with ladies actually attempting this month and supporting each other, its very helpful!i wanted to ttc in the summer and have a spring baby as well, but we instead made a successful attempt in February because my biorythm were in strong boy zone. i hope you all get your son! if my baby is confirmed boy, i will give you the extra blue dust! good luck to all.
