Nini's 12+1 potty shots - This MUST be a boy...right? Coldwater, Nicholerh, would love your opinions xxx

I was hoping for a girl, I even swayed pretty much full on! But lately I found I didnt have a strong preference anymore. Although I would still have preferred to see girly parts yesterday, right now I feel emotionally close to my future son. I would be shocked if I heard girl in 4 weeks time (which is why I am hoping to get a good profile shot this Sunday during my NT scan).

Thanks for posting the link. It does look somewhat boyish, but I still think that potty shot looks different to mine in that the tip of the nub is slim (mine is round and full) and there is that strong line that leads through the nub and behind which mine doesnt have either......

I guess I should have never forced my OB to take all these potty shots, its just the baby was too active to see anything in profile :( I dont know why I wanted to find out so badly either. Thanks everyone for looking, I appreciate everyones opinion and time! Still hoping for a Tech to check in as well xxxx

 Sounds like you are really happy with a boy or a girl so that is a good :) I know how hard it is to wait and find out. I hope CC or Nichole will chime in! xx

I am so not good at this but you got some pretty good shots that *look* like a boy to me..but i can't even figure out mine..lol But i wish both of us healthy amazing sons...Thank you so much for helping with mine also!

I am hoping to get a clear nub shot like yours when I go for my nuchal scan, nub shots(profile shots) are way more reliable than potty shots at this gestation. Oh, and you were 5 days ahead of me, lovemy4 says that a lot happens in that time. I still think mine is a boy as I saw the bits live during the scan and it just screamed boy. It looked nothing like my daughter ;)

I am sure our sons will be amazing, and hopefully healthy as well. I already have 2 of them and a wonderful daughter in addition, so very, very grateful :)

I am not that good at telling the parts in U/S pics..so I wasn't even sure if that was a nub or part.of the leg? But if so many more experienced to think so I am super happy..I have 3 girls so if its a boy it will be so awesome.. You have 2 boys and 1 girl..that's awesome so either would be good, does your daughter hope for a sister to play with??

my daughter is only 15 months, so she doesnt really get it yet. DH said we could perhaps have another one once our eldest is an older teenager like 14+++ (I am 32 now, so a bit of time left. I like the idea of having at least one child at home for longer). My younger son (2.5yrs) wants a little brother (NOT a baby he says, a little brother, ha ha) and my eldest (who will be 11 when this baby arrives) would prefer a sister as he is smitten with this little lady we have at home (eventhough she can be a real little beast ;)

I personally would have preferred another girl, I always saw myself with daughters(plural!) before I had kids.... but right now everything is a win-win since I have a healthy boy and a healthy girl with my husband (my eldest is from a previous relationship). But I am dealing well with thinking I will get another boy - they are gorgeous ;) 

I bet your girls would love a little brother though! My mum had a baby when I was 8 and I was praying for a brother....well, my sister is sitting beside me right now - I am so glad now she is a sister ha ha ;)

Hi Nini, have not been on this site for ages due difficulty in accessing it!! Anyway, managed to log in and saw your post.... I have no idea about interpreting potty shots or guessing nubs (I leave that to you lovely ladies!) so no help there. Hopefully some of the techs will chime in though and give some input. Anyway, HUGE congratuations on a healthy baby, this baby regardless of gender is so lucky to have a Mum like you.... we have never met, but I think of you as one of the kindest most sincere people I 'know' :) As i said, my DS is a Libran and is just the sweetest little personality..... he is such a cuddle bunny too!! Love him to bits! I remember you saying before that you had picked out a boys name etc even prior to or at the time of TTC and were already feeling at peace with it.... if this little person is indeed another gorgeous DS, maybe these were signs that he was getting ready to make his way to you..... get ready for me Mum, I'm on my way! I love, love, love your positive attitude to the whole thing and as you say a part of you may feel a little disheartened that the last baby is not both a DD and a DS.... one of each perhaps? :) What will be will be, and babies have a way of coming (as we know) in their own time, on their own schedule and being their own little people from the word go! Will be following this thread with interest.... I am totally clueless on the whole nub thing!! Wishing you a happy, healthy remainder of your pregnancy and a happy, healthy bundle of joy at the end of it! Hoping to join you in the pregnancy stakes soon! xx

My girls are praying for a boy this time. For my second I really wanted another girl cause I don't have a sister and always wished i had one..but with the third i wanted a boy and actually swore up and down that's what it was but nope that was my third princess..even though she is pretty tom boyish..lol But now I am really HOPING that this is my boy cause were done. I am 35 i will be 36 when I give birth, I can't keep going plus this is actually #6 for my hubby as he has 2 sons already so hopefully this will even us out..lol Good luck to us both on our little guys! BTW I posted a new pic in my post but not sure if it's anything??? can you take a peek for me :)

Your nub shot looks really clear and very boyish. Cantw ait to hear your update. Will check out your new pic in a minute....

 Hey nini.. IMO, i don't think these look all that boy!  they are wayyyy too early for a potty shot. Little girls can look like little boys at this point. I think that it could easily very well be clitoris we are seeing. I'm not a tech or anything but I would def not count out this being a girl!

There was just another lady on here that had some early scan pics that looked just like yours, and most everyone guessed boy and it turns out she is having a girl afterall!!  It could happen!

Thanks guys, of course i have googled the net and yes, here and there these boyish potty shots at 12 weeks turn out to be girls later on, but the majority really is a boy... since my daughter looked so different just a week ahead, I just dont think one of my babies would look this boyish if it werent a boy.... Should have my nuchal scan tomorrow, hope she can squeeze me in...

ah Starflower, just read your post now, thank you for your kind words, I blushed ;) I am taking your positive energy right now to bed with me and a good book as well not thinking about the gender of my next baby, just happy that I saw a strong heartbeat and a healthy baby xxx Thanks so much.
