TTC a boy - have we messed up?

We're TTC a boy and have been swaying blue really successfully. I thought I had O'd yesterday (going by my chart and all the signs), but I did an OPK today and got a positive!
We BD'd last night, have we ballsed up our chances of swaying blue? Should we ~BD again?

I think if you were doing everything else well, you probably still have a good shot. I know frequent BD can sway girl because of lower sperm count, but all 3 of my boys were conceived BD at least once a day, sometimes twice, in the several days leading up to O, on O day, and after O. I think my ph was just through the roof from all the BD. How long after your + OPK do you usually O? You could do it again within a couple hours right before you expect to O as DH sperm count will probably be going up again if it's mroe than 24 hours since last BD. Just keep your PH high in the meantime and for the several hours after O. I don't know much about swaying boy.. never had to. But GL and I'm sending you lots of blue dust!

If it doesnt have the sperm killer stuff on it. You good. But it doesnt matter if its not latex. the thing to look for is there is no sperm killer on it. i forgot the name

I haven't even though of that being a problem. I just assumed that once you O'ed....it would be ok.

I use Ansel "Skin" condoms - they are non-latex and no lub condoms.

I would ask Tamara. I think it could be a problem because after our attempt were supposed to keep our ph up by bsf in Vj until O confirmed so I think if we used a condom with sperm killer than it could do something. U said theres no lube and no latex so u could be good. Ive never heard of those condoms.

Some condoms have spermicides in them or N-9 spermicide....I just googled it.

Yep...Ansell is a Australian Brand. It is called Lifestyles in the US. I use the SKYN ones as they are non-latex (which is what you need for MSU) and do not have spermicide lub.

So.....no sex using a condom that contains spermicides. And better to wait until O is confirmed.
