Vivid dream about baby girl...

Just found out that I'm pregnant yesterday and last night has a beautiful dream that I was in hospital and was handed a perfect baby girl. I woke up feeling gutted as dreams usually mean the opposite. I can't believe that I'm already tormenting myself over this.... Guess it's gonna be a long 9 months!!!

I had a similar dream with this pregnancy. The whole labor and everything! I thought for sure it meant we would indeed have a DD. But we are having DS3. When I read about other people's experiences though it was 50/50 in terms of having the opposite or "predicting" your actual baby's gender. GL! I hope you hear girl!!!

Before I found out I was pregnant with my current baby I had a dream that I was at the hospital and there were no nurses available to assist me in labor.  When the baby was born I had to take it to the nurse's station to help me cut the cord.  It was very obviously another boy.  We won't know the gender until May, but that dream was so real.  My labors go quickly, so not having a doctor or nurses around me is quite possible.  Hope you get your girl!!

Studies actually show that women's intuitions of gender are usually correct (I think 70% of the time, or something to that affect), including dreams about the baby's gender. I have always dreamt the opposite, but that's just me. Probably a coincidence. Good luck, and hope it's a girl!
