feeling so down, just want to get it over with

I'm only 13 weeks so I don't know the gender yet. In my gut and my heart I thought i would finally get my girl after 3 boys. Today I had an ultrasound. Because of my gestation the tech wouldn't make a guess. But several times during the u/s I saw something between the legs. Although sometimes it appeared there was nothing. But its got me feeling super down. If its a boy I just want to hear it and be done with it. I'm embarrassed to announce if its a boy because everyone knows I desperately want a girl. On top of that a coworker is pregnant also. She has two boys and is finding out the sex tomorrow. She hasn't said it to me but has told several other coworkers "I bet she's having another boy. Cant wait to see how she reacts to that!" So rude! I don't want to face her if its a boy. With my other 3 I found out at 14 weeks and it was VERY obvious. I'm including an u/s pic if you want to make a guess. But I just know now its a boy. Good things don't happen for me. Things I pray for donf happen. I dont think im being punished but I certainly don't understand God's plan. It's hard to tell in the pic but its a potty shot.

Honestly even though it is early it looks way more girly than a boy to me. This does not have the shape of a boy. i

I'll have to agree with Serenity. Im not an expert, but it does look like a girl. It looks like my dd's potty shot (mine was a bit more clear though), by the way i was told girl at 12 weeks and they were right. When is your next scan?

I think its a girl. It reminds me of my dds potty shot at 12+6 which the Tech refused to print off - do you have anymore pics?

Defenitely it is not clear, that is certain. I dont know if it is really a girl, but surely it also doesnt look typically boyish.

OMG this comment of your coworker, it is rude. I wish everyone to have their daughter but in this case, i do not want her to have her, after she experiences having the 3rd boy! May be she will then become a little bit more compassionate, and she will not think so in her heart, or even dare to explicit such words....! I am mad at such comments!!!!!

 

I think your position is still neutral, and all the same chances are for boy or a girl to turn out that it is in your tummy. You dont know yet!!!

It is too early to guess with potty shot, but it looks girly to me too :-) Best of luck to you!

Thanks so much for all the encouraging words! My next apt is March 9th but I'm not sure if they'll do an u/s then or not. I just want to know and either be overjoyed or deal with the grief.

I REALLY dont want to get your hopes up and maybe I shouldn't even say this but I just compared your pic to my pic that I had at my 19 week anatomy scan it looks almost identical..............................GIRL!

Well my hopes are already up so you're not doing me any harm. At least if its not a girl I can enjoy the dream for a couple more weeks. Speaking of dreams, the past few nights all I've dreamed about is ultrasound pics and getting the sex confirmed. Obsessed? Yes lol

You know, I went through the exact same thing....for weeks I kept dreaming about ultrasounds....lol I hope you get what you want.

I am in your position right now too, all my friends have girls or a mix or both, i have three boys and an due in august with a (so far) unknown, my gut was boy from the start but like yours my ultrasound is hard to tell from. From the time I have spent reading on the Internet it seems that there are so many families that have all boys or all girls, we are not alone. I think everything happens for a reason though, try to stay positive. Good luck.
