omg im soo upset i feel like crying right now! no i am crying right now!! i don't know how or why but my opk is - now. i took three opks today with the first test being the darkest but not a +. no i took one and its a horrible lighter shade! i took like 3 yesterday all - nd one this morning at 6am, -. whats going on!!!! help! i feel hopeless at this point. i felt o pains last night but okp was - so i ignored my gut feeling and didnt bd!

Thanks for the info about the digital tester, sounds like that's the way to go!! I'll be ordering one Monday! Osmariam- oh I see! Bummer! Well maybe you can enjoy a break from the diet! cd4 for me. Im thinking about not using the IC because for some reason im spilling most of it. Last time I was ttc I didnt spill. I dont know maybe my hole is smaller. lol

lana that is really frustrating for you, I had the same when I was waiting for AF to return and it was soul destroying. Could it be that you're too stressed and it's delaying O?

Phoenix, I didn't bother with the IC cup or EW, the thought freaked me out a little, I only just got my head around doing a BSF! My sway is so poor, but I'm at the point now, 8 months down the line, I just want a BFP. I've put so much weight on with this damn diet (I never eat potatos, rice etc) and I'm bloody miserable!

so here is an update. i totally panic last night thinking that i miss o. so we decided to bd. i did bsf 1 hr before, dh red bull 1 hr before. rear entry, flipped and inserted ic with ew in it. went to bed. woke up today with a slight temp dip, and a + opk. so i think i bd a bit early possible 24-48 hrs early. what do u think am i safe or what? thanks for all the help !

This is what I did this month too, everyone said we should be ok.

hi this is what i did. We BD the morning of ++OPK (which we got only around 5pm), so within 24-48 hours before O. Sometimes baby measures as if conceived on O day, sometimes as if conceived the next day. I dont know the gender yet. At the time, i was happy that we BD earlier than after O, since D2 is a O+12.However i have seen that 2 days before O was as much girl than boy territory. But timing is also the least important factor. Good luck!

sperm count will favor girl, and if you are after O, you could be 0+12. this is what happened to me with DD2. We BD too early because DH was going to be away on day of O until late, and when we BD i realized that we were at O+12 (didnt know about that then). Anyway, both attempts were clearly favoring girl in terms of timing. so this time i did as best as i could and am very happy that i can have no regrets at all. My one attempt was sufficient to lad pregnant. Be patient so when you get your BFP you can be happy about your attempt knowing you didnt have to do a no-no. my opinion only.

I'm thinking maybe I should have posted my earlier post under this one so I'm posting it again...I would really love to hear your input!

Hi ladies.  Well, we did our first attempt this morning around 6...

 I had a +OPK last night at 7pm so I though we were good to go...everything went great - used egg whites, BS finger, had the Big O before and after, great position, etc (sorry if TMI) and I placed an IC in for 90 minutes after DTD.  I also had EWCM too...

However, after DTD, I tested OPK and it was negative...I didn't get too upset by that because I thought maybe just the LH surge had passed by then but then I tested using my CBFM and it still shows high fertility not peak (day before was high too)...

 So, I think my timing of DTD was too early?  I am temping but it is a mess to try and decipher - my temps are all over the place so that's not helpful...I am so confused and frustrated - I thought we had really done everything right :(

 Anyway, I guess I will continue to check my CBFM and digital OPKs over the next few days and see if I get another +.  If so, do you recommend trying again to DTD with all of the above again...What is the minimal amount of time that should pass for DH to get his sperm count back up where it needs to be?  Is 48 hours enough?

i think you attempt sounds perfect. i never used the cbfm, so i don't know about that.. I'm definitely not gonna bd again. so thanks for the help!!

Phoenix- we are on the same cycle day!! It will be interesting to see if we get our opk's at the same time! Good luck!!

Iana- sounds like a great attempt!! Fx to your BFP!!! It turns out after I tracked back that my dd2 was a fr and o+12 result. How ever I believe my pH to be low normally so my body was more girl friendly. I hope your BFP is a blue one!

So excited for everyone and fx to all who have made their attempts. Tomorrow is CD5 for me and I will begin my daily opk checking, probably twice a day. I suddenly very nervous but have been doing all my supplements for three weeks now, diet for 2.5 weeks and Monday will start the bs drink. Been trying to plan out our BDing over the next couple of weeks and will do BS finger week of O.. However I'm not sure I want to use EW. I know a lot of swayers use it but I hear a lot of mc are results.. Just want to not have a mc, but I do want to maximize chances.. What do y'all think?
