I had to get induced on Dec 11, 2011 at 39+1 wks due to Gestational Diabetes.. Labor lasted only 8 hrs with minimal pain 
I only had ONE contraction that actually made me tear up. I then had a epidural and I was good! Not too long after that, they broke my water and baby dropped down even further, and before I knew it I was dilated and ready to push! I had TWO big pushes and a few little ones, and out popped my little piece of Heaven

We were discharged the next evening with no complications. We are happy and healthy and enjoying each other at home. His big brothers LOVE him.. they can't stop kissing him and trying to hold him. So cute!
He wasn't the girl I had hoped for, but he is for sure the little boy I didn't know I wanted! I am SO in love. I almost feel bad, even guilty that I cried he wasn't a girl. Lol I still feel a little sad I may never get my girl, but I couldn't imagine now NOT having him. It's an amazing feeling!
Ohhh.. and he was 8lbs 4oz and 19.7 in long... The shortest out of the three, but in between the other two boys in weight. my first was 7.4 and my 2nd was 9 lbs 12 oz! BIG BOY! So, this one is SO tiny compared to my last one!
