 superb news bet u felt like dancing out of the sono room lol,,thats how i felt on monday lol,,take your time when telling people and you will know when the time is right

well i wanted to update you girls, my post is on gd forum. dialted to 3cm and 100% effaced. im very lucky i missed my 20 week u/s. i went in thursday and low and behold my cervix was short and "funneling". 20 weeks scan probably would not have shown anything. so im taking steroids to help baby grow. magnesium to stop contractions and lots of rest. prayers my baby boy stays in a little longer.

 hi tambo,,had my 15 week scan yesterday and all looks well,baby waving and kicking about,,was amazing to see baby again  got a phone call today to go to hospital on monday to go for a blood test to get tested for anti phospholipid syndrome as that could have been a cause as to  why i lost harvey,,i wanted to know more but the consultant was in theatre all day,so i read on the internet about it and now im petrified incase i lose this baby too if i have this!! fingers crossed all comes back negative!!

how have things been for you?

carol08 ~ So happy for you that everything is going so well!  I can't wait to be far enough along so that it feels more real.  I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow.  I know we all know it, and do it anyway...but man, the internet is usually the worst.  Praying that the test comes back negative.  I didn't know that your little one that passed was named Harvey.  I have an Uncle Harvey...and, always thought his name was adorable. 

I am hanging in there.  I have my first appt. with my midwife on Tuesday.  Hoping for some kind of reassurance...heart rate in some way.  My MS has been out of control.  I am now on Zofran, and still using at home remedies.  No throwing up...just intense, all-day nausea.  But, I'll survive! 

 glad to hear ur still pregnant newbaby2012!!glad the we man still in there and still praying for you and family that he stays in there for awhile longer!!

thank you tambo,,cant believe your 9weeks already,time seems to be flying by,,like it like that though lol,,when is your 12 week scan? yeah the internet is the worst thing ever but im sure if i had had this with harvey they would have picked it up after he was born with my blood tests ect?? i will know more when i go to hospital tomorrow.  Harvey was the only name that OH and i could agree on lol,,but i loved it instantly and so did he 

Glad to hear that everthing going good for you, and the nausea sucks but its a good sign,and we would worry if we never felt sick at all lol,,we never can win , hope all goes well on tuesday and keep us updated with your progress,,goodluck and will be thinking of both you and newbaby2012 

 hi,,,how is everyone doing?had midwife appt today and got to hear babys heartbeat,,woohoo,,beating away at 148!! have a scan week this thursday,,cant wait 

congrats carol!!! how exciting, i can't wait to find out what you girls are having. i know they say the hb theory is garbage but this baby boy has been 140's every single time. my girls were 160's or higher! do you have a nub pic carol? ask for one on thursday.

    im good, i was readmitted to the hospital but im home again. i was given more magnesium to stop contractions again. it seems to have worked because i don't feel anything today. last time they checked i was a loose 3 with wiggle room. whatever that means. so i go back tomorrow for another check.

   im trying to be positive and i know the longer he stays in the better but for a month now i have been hearing for every single doctor and nurse, 'its going to be anyday now" so i was prepared, i learned, i cried. i did what i needed to do and its a month later and still i wait. i have no cervix left so i just leak fluids and mucus plugs and cm on a large maxipad all day, my breasts are leaking so i wear breasts pads all day, most days i just cramp and wait and lay in bed. honestly the thought of doing this for 12 more weeks is making me cry.

 thankyou newbaby2011,,i didnt think i was to bothered about findingout sex to start with but now m dying to know too,lol,,i had a scan at 15 weeks and asked if he could tell the sex and after a good look between the legs he said it was to early to tell,,girl maybe?? or just not getting a good glimpse of scrotum and penis to say for sure?? i have had a feeling from start that this is a girl but now im not so sure lol,,i wish i had asked for potty shot pic but was so wrapped up in the knowing that my baby was fine i didnt ask,,will attach profile photo i got at 15 weeks and a nub photo at 12w 4d

so glad to know the wee man is still cooking away in there and everyday is a blessing that he stays put,,,it must be hard for you with not being able to do much with your girls etc and 12 weeks seems like a lifetime away but you can make up for it when he finally comes into the world,,,12 weeks will not seem that long once you have your healthy baby boy in your arms
