tbm swaying a girl

is there more chance of concieving a girl through tbm than having sex then putting acidic douche afterwards?

yes if you are also doing the 7 sway factors

so whats the difference ?

 please excuse my ignorance :( but what is tbm method? i am new here and dont understand all the abreviations yet! i am ttc with egs (if i abreviated that right lol) and was reading about lime douch before and lime tampon after is this wrong for girl then?

 ok ive done a bit more research since my last post on this thread lol i understand a bit more now but was wondering tamara if you could assess whether i was going about my sway correctly please?

i am following the girl diet with cranberry pill suppliment, charting ph, temp and other symptoms liek ov pain or tender breasts etc on another website (dont know if i aloud to mention the name) and opk (clear blue-i'm in the uk) and have been doing lime douche before bd with a lime tampon 30 mins post bd if ph is over 5 we were planning on cutting off when my opk peaks is this correct for ttc pink ? i was wondering about tbm when i am o+12 but unsure how i can be sure of this i was always of the understandign if you dtd around ovulation there was more chance of blue ? so was worried if i bd just after i ovulate how come this isnt the case?

also is there a section on here which explains the jump n dump method i sort of understand but dont want to get this wrong either !

no, that would be to close if you are doing a cut off

i dont know if your opk test kits are the same as in the uk but mine is the clear blue fertility monitor and at min it has two bars showing for the last 6 days basically high fertility since first day after menses stopped ! is it normal to show this high a fertility so soon after menses ?

3 bars is peak fertility on this kit and shows the time it expects you to ovulate, so what i am thinking is i need to avoid dtd completely now till o+12 sorry to sound so stupid i just want to make sure i get this right for best chance !

ok final question how do i work out when i am o+12 do i just count 12 hours after my opk shows peak fertility ? is there anything else i can do to make sure i dont tbm too soon !

Hi, I'm also in the UK. I tracked my cycles for 3 months before we started ttc a girl. I used the clearblue fertility monitor and all the research said that 97% of women ovulate on their 2nd peak day, so I was all set for my o+12 attempt on peak day 2. Well that cycle I got 7 high days (2 bars) and I thought it was strange as I normally get 5 maximum! I had some cheap ovulation test strips so on the 7th high day I decided to test with the strips every 3-4 hours, 12pm there was a faint line then at 16.30 I got a strong positive! So my surge started on a high day and the next morning I got a peak! Because I was so worried about doing my o+12 attempt to early (plus I was checking my cervix and cm a hundred times!) I still waited until the 2nd peak day evening to do our attempt - that cycle ended in a bfn and now I know I missed the egg completely!! So my advice would be to use the monitor but also use the clearblue smily tests (get the 20 pack off amazon!!). I ovulated yesterday (my 2nd cycle ttc girl) and I had to do a cut off because my DH was away for work so we couldn't do o+12. Don't get too stressed about timing. I had a 1.5 cut off (my hubby abstained for 12 days and we only dtd once!) when I ovulated my ph never rose above 5). I hope that helps!! Good luck :)
