Dear Lovely Ladies, I love the name Philippa and have chosen it for my little girl but am torn about the spelling. We have eliminated, the use of the F (Filippa, Fillipa etc) and the single and double 'p' & 'l' eg. Phillippa, Philipa. The choice is now down to 2. Can you please tell me what you think looks prettiest? Thank you :)

What Spelling do you like best?

I voted with one "p". I think it looks more feminine.

honestly the Philipa one looks like PHILIP with an a on the end- I would do the F version myself.  or the double PP

But the double PP looks like  a misspell.   JMO.

I voted for Phillipa. I agree with the others, I think it looks more feminine. Also, (because I am that bored right now) I checked on babynames.com and "Philippa" got rated 2 stars, while "Phillipa" is rated 4 stars. BUT I say go with what you like, it's your little girl!

Thank you so much Belles & Beaus- that was so lovely and sweet of you to check babynames. I felt really relieved after reading your message because thats always been my first choice and I keep doubting because the double pp is more common :) Thank youxoxoxoxooxox

Hi Ladies, thank you for your input- I have decided to go with Philippa - even though the poll suggested otherwise but I want to use the nickname 'Pippa' as opposed to 'Philly' so i thought the spelling would help with that!

Thanks so much for all your input- Happy LOL

Hey,k I wrote my post before reading your last post... so the same reasons behind it, Pippa! I would never have thought of spelling it with a double L either nor have I ever seen it spelt that way.
