Wonder what it's like to NOT have GD.

Bet it's amazing.

No constant ache. No trying to avoid the girl's section so I don't have to see the little sundresses, the leggings, the dolls. No secretly resenting mamas with girls. No wondering if I'll ever feel complete.

Bet it's amazing.

Praying for a Daughter

I hope all of us who are hoping for a certain gender get to experience that!  Best wishes!

I would do anything not to have it! That's the one thing that would be better than having a daughter - to have never felt any gd with my 3 sons! I live them all so much - just wish my heart didn't constantly ache for the daughter that I now know I will never have - hugs to all that are hurting.

????? Not a helpful thing to say. Obviously the op does give a hoot about frilly, girly things hence her post about her GD over it.

I'm sorry you're hurting. Speaking for myself, I have been exactly where you are when I had my two boys, and even though I now have a daughter the hole that I labeled "gd" wasn't completely due to not having a daughter. Sometimes getting your dg still doesn't make everything feel complete. I am hoping and praying that whatever your future holds though (daughter or no daughter) you will find peace. Hugs!

Well I think it is kinda helpful, I feel the same as the poster, I LOVE my boys to death and would love to have no GD and would never replace one of them with a girl. But it is nice to get things into perspective, babies are babies, beautiful and messy:-) People are people, always wanting what we don't have, but it's ok. And I think the poster asks an excellent question. Hopefully we'll be able to answer it ourselves some day!!
