Anyone ever heard of girl dots?

Some ladies on another site that I visit frequently say that if  you get these little red dots on your thighs while pregnant that you will have a dd..Anyone have a dd have these dots? Anyone know if there is any truth to this?

I saw that too, not sure if it really works or not!!

well, i can say that i always have these dots to some extent. but when pg with dd the amount seemed to increase a LOT.

but! it wasnt until later on in pg that i noticed how much they had increased

 I got these when I was pg with DS2 and I still have them although not as bad. Sorry if I told you something you didn't want to hear.

you know, im not sure when exactly i noticed that they were going crazy and multiplying.... definitly by 28/29 weeks. my gf asked me "what are those bumps" back in october and i hadnt realized it at the time... but obviously they were there then.

I read on (Solveyourproblem.com) http://www.solveyourproblem.com/pregnancy/pregnancy-skin-conditions.shtml that high levels of gonadotropin may be the cause of these dots. A study that was done on higher levels of Maternal serum human chorionic gonadotropin does according to the study indicate a higher prevalence of girl foetuses so maybe in some cases this may indicate pregnancy with a girl? http://www.springerlink.com/content/h75u7g2780u60825/, I just quickly scanned through the study but it seems to be a very interesting piece of reading material.

Thank you so much for this info you are so sweet!!   I go to the doctor this morning hoping she does an ultrasound today so I find out what this lil sweet pea is.
