Who is left??

My doctor showed DH where the ankle pressure point was a couple of months ago but cautioned us not to use it until I was ready to go into labor.  I don't think DH would really know how to do it correctly so I am headed in tomorrow night and hopefully it will be the kickstart I need :) 

Ugh, I had contractions for 3 days straight and now NOTHING!  How is that even possible?  I feel like the closer I get to my due date, the farther away I am getting from delivery

Just had my checkup... I'm 2.5cm dilated and 50% effaced. Lost more of my plug before the exam and had some pink/brown spotting afterwards... not sure if that was the show or just irritated from the exam (it was slightly uncomfortable this time). Dr. said all I need are some strong contractions to get the ball rolling. So I decided to cancel my acupuncture appt for tomorrow. Seems like my body is doing what it needs to, albeit very slowly (plus saving that $$ would be helpful). The past couple days my contractions have been getting stronger... I feel more heavy and crampy. If it doesn't happen over the weekend, my next appt is scheduled for Monday (I'll be 40 +2) and we'll talk about inducing next week. Shouldn't take much to get it started.

Glad you are progressing Plum!  I just had my 40w appt and I am still 1-2 cm but I went from 0% to 50% effaced so that is good.  Baby is still up high though, today at least.  I could have sworn she dropped the last few days but doc said with a 3rd baby they can pop in and out over time so that may be why my contractions suddenly stalled??  I am still going to try the chiro tonight for the pressure point to get labor going and if that doesn't work then I will be going in late on the 20th for my induction.

Yay for increased effacement!   This is my second, but I think mine has also been bobbing up and down... sometimes I really feel her on my pelvic floor with sharp twinges, then other times it seems like she's up high. Who knows. Good luck with the pressure points!

I'm still here waiting due on Tuesday next week. I'm still having lots of braxton hicks and Kellan pushing downwards but head is still free. I'm finding it hard to walk and my pubic bone is hurting :(

Congrats to all the great new mums

Think I am just about it left... Still a week untill my due date but things are moving, just not sure how much... They don't like to check progress until after your due date here so I'll be waiting until my next appointment Nov 1st if I make it that long. I have lost parts of my mucus plug over the past two days so who knows could be any day now or still 2 weeks away

Anyone else still waiting to meet their new arrivals?

Due tomorrow although that means diddly squat with me lol. I'm suffering with a sore throat and a cough at the moment and had dreadful heartburn last night. I ended up sleeping sat up on the sofa at 4am as I couldn't lay down.

 Is there anyone left who hasn't given birth yet?
