Worried I may have a HT opposite!

 So I had a scan todayat 14 weeks and it very muched looked like a penis between the legs. We did HT for a girl so you can imagine how devasted I feel. I know it's still early but the Tech said although she couldn't confirm it looked like a boy.These were more the between the legs shots and not really the typical "nub" shots you see, but "penis and scrotum" looked so prominent I can't imagine that just going away. Any thoughts, stories, or words of encouragement? I feel like I'm dying here!

I totally agree with Mom2RJA. Week 14 is the worst week to try and determine the gender - have a look at the link. Have you got a scan pic and maybe charliecats could have a look for you? Don't worry I am sure everything is just fine. Where did you cycle? xx

Did you do IVF/PGD or Microsort or Ericson or some other high tech? That will also factor in to whether you might have an opposite. Unless there is a lab error, IVF/PGD is like 99.9% correct for your desired gender.

With my Daughter (it was not an HT Pregnancy) I had a scan at 14 & 16 weeks with Different tech & both confirmed that my baby girl was a baby boy.

Around 20 weeks scan. She was all Girl. So lot can change sweetie, Dont worry your baby will be a princesses for sure.

Thanks for all the encouragement! I've re-read all of the responses probably several times a day to reassure myself that everything is going to be ok and my little girl is in there. If it hadn't be SO obvious I wouldn't be as concerned but hopefully we can hold out for a couple more weeks and we get to hear those wonderful words "it's a girl"!
