Been quiet

Hey ladies! So it has been very quiet in the January club. What has everyone been up to? Anyone enjoying the shopping for their new lil guy or gal? Anyone new find out the gender of their little one? Is anyone still experiencing morning sickness? Any names picked out?? Baby showers? so on..

  One good thing for me is my migraines have practically vanished finally!! I've gone out and gotten a few things for my little boy :)! We have a baby shower coming up pretty early. October 2nd. I have so much going on for the end of Oct-Jan that I wanted it as soon as could be done. Besides, trying to have a get together like that with snow and the holidays makes it much harder on people. One of my fears for this pregnancy is that I'll go into labor during a blizzard! haha. My husband drives OTR so it makes me anxious to be due during the winter months.. besides, it is not uncommon for some good snow storms in WI.

Well, anyways. Hopefully we can get some chattin' going. :)

Hi Kryshawna, I was thinking the exact same thing its quiet!! I think today is the first day i have a bit of energy and no sickness, so far!! The sickness has really been getting me down recently, im gaining a fair bit of weight now too, oh i wish it was just on the bump, my weight sadly spreads everywhere lol Glad your migraines have gone, please post piccys of your baby shower, would love to see,enjoy! Ive really got to get round to buying bits for the baby, im feeling disorganised this time and have a fair bit to get as we gave it all away last time, this little suprise will be costly. Im looking forward to my 20 week scan on Thursday, we are going team green though, im thinking if its a boy we are bound to see anyway, if he is anything like his brothers, if we accidently see thats fine but are not going to actively ask, though hubby disagrees, still i think, Im too hoping i dont go into labour during the snow etc, wouldnt be fun. Im interested to see if anymore ladies have ahd gender scans or know the gender, January is quite a pink month so it seems xx

Its been quiet probably b/c this time is sort of most symptomless time after m/s and before all the third trimesters symptoms :) Kryshawna- How cool, you're having your babyshower already!! It makes me think , hey, we are getting closer and closer to the labour too :) 

have you some plans for the shower ? theme ? 

Clarelouise: are you going to keep the babys gender as a surprise ? I must say I admire your strength of will...I have never been able to be so patient that I could have waited till birth :D do you have any gut feeling, whether  its a girl or a boy?

 

Do you have any ideas where to find nice crib sets / decor sets to nursery? we dont reallyt have that much of a shops here that would sell nice ones, so I think I will buy it via internet, so if you know some nice webshop links, I'd appreciate some suggestions :)

Hey Girls! Sorry it took me so long to get back. We have been super busy. Both my daughters have been sick :( and I was as well with a sinus infection and bronchitis! My husband is home from driving otr finally. So we have been spending some real quality time together :). He leaves again tomorrow though.

Not sure about the baby shower theme. I really want my sons theme to be more of like a lion theme. My daughters theme is lambs. So I always liked the idea of using the Lion and the Lamb as a theme for my children. I'm actually nervous about this baby shower. It involves people I tend to try to avoid. (my husbands family). The last time I willingly had a baby shower was for my first pregnancy and I walked out with a few congratulations cards and a baby blanket...... Not very helpful. I hope this one goes a bit more differently than that. Not trying to be selfish... but the purpose for a baby shower is to help the parents with things they need for their new arrival while celebrating the pregnancy. At least that's what I thought..

 I also have been looking for a good nursery theme. I haven't found anything too great while out and about in the world. Looks like I will be browsing the internet for ideas. If I find some places that have good stuff I'll let you know :).

Oh and do not feel bad about the weight gain hahah! I am also putting on those pounds pretty good. I always do. It goes mostly to my arms, belly, and thighs. Which I do not like. I look like im already 8 months pregnant though. HAHA!

I don't think I could handle waiting until birth to find out my child's gender.Only because I am too curious of a person! So , I commend you for that!! That is exciting though!

I really am so unorganized for this baby. I have been trying so hard to clean out our home so that there is even room for him. I have been going through clothes, toys, so on and so forth. We need to move to a bigger place but in the mean while I am getting rid of all that is not needed or has over stayed its welcome here. Besides, I do not want to pack it all up, take it to a new apartment, unpack it, then have to get rid of it any way haha. I feel like I'm in a real nesting mode. But, with 2 other kiddos runnin' around this house it is almost impossible to get things how I want them. It is going to take a long time before things will be where I need them to be. :)

Hey I was thinking how quiet it has been to!  Kryshwana I assume your scan was fine on thurs??

Hey hunn. They rescheduled my scan for October 7th.... But so far everything else is going great. :) Didn't you have one also? If so how did it go??

Hi Kryshwana glad to here all is going well with you.  Yes had my scan posted info on other post (thinking of you two boys yeates), would love to be able to type it again but i am just so rubbish at typing!! Im sure thats why I get those dreaded monkey's cause it takes me so long!

Hi ladies, not much to report i'm afraid.. I had my anatomy scan yesterday which went great! baby is looking perfect and healthy and is still very much a she i haven't started shopping yet, i'm very superstitious and don't shop until after v-day so i'll start shopping in around 2 weeks time. I need to buy a new mattress, baby monitor, pram and clothes. We're also in the middle of moving house so it's busy times as they say Hope you're all well

So wowza! This is the first time Ive been able to login for a few weeks now!!! The monkies were kickin my butt! I have a scan this coming friday to check on my little man. I am assuming he is growing well considering my belly IS HUGE! ill post a pic :)! I like to show off my belly lol!! I had a baby shower scheduled for yesterday but I cancelled it. Too much drama with my husband's family and I decided I did not want to deal with it. It sucks when people ruin things for you. I haven't been shopping much yet. I did buy 2 baby blankets and an outfit lol. I was given a bag of boy clothes from a neighbor which was lovely. My boy wont be able to fit into any of it for about 6+ months. But, that is okay :)! My daughters are driving me bonkers haha! My oldest, Cheyenne, turned 3 this past June and my second, Chloe, just turned 1 last month! So I am dealing with the terrible 3s.. and wow it can be terrible... I hope this stage passes quickly.. if it passes haha. My only real complaints about this pregnancy are the ligament pains and my back aches!!!!!! waking up in the middle of the night with your belly feeling like someone is tearing it open is no fun. I can barely get out of bed because my hip is acting up. Other than that, things are going pretty great. Next week my husband, my children, and I will be driving from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania then to South Carolina and back! I moved here from PA so I am excited to see some friends I haven't seen in over 6 years!!! Then in SC is my Dad, Granddad, and my Brother. I haven't seen them in a little over a year now. This is going to be the first time my Dad's side of the family meets Chloe!!!! And, honestly for some.. my husband haha. So I am a little nervous about that. We have been together for 6 years but,... yeah. Anyhoots! We should have a great time! I am sooo happy about this because normally I would go by myself with my kids because my husband would be working BUT his new boss is allowing him to go with!!! YAY!!! This means we get to spend a WHOLE WEEK together!! And for those who do not know, my husband started a career as a OTR semi driver a little over a year ago after he was laid off from work and was unemployeed for over a year. It is rough out there, he took the first job he could and he loves it. It took a while to adjust but things are going well. On the brighter side of him being gone so often (about 5 days a week) we never fight and his homecoming is always wonderful. ;)... Well enough of my rambling... how is everyone else??????????

 Hi sorry about your family issues, and the ligament pain, i too have that and carpal tunnel syndrome its horrid, im so so tired too all of the time, really not having a good time of it this time. Love your bump piccy, your cooking a big boy in there :)

I just wanted to do a quick update. I had a growth scan today to take messurements of our little man. He is PERFECT! Right on schedule!!!!!! And oh so freaking cute! He was sucking on his fingers and sticking out his tounge haha!! He even scowled when the ultrasound tech pused on him to make him move his hands lol. I am so over the moon right now :)!!! I still have 3 more growth scans scheduled. My next on is November 1st and I will update after. Praying he stays on track! Also, I am doing well. I have not shown any signs of pre-eclampsia or preterm labor like they say I may. I did have a hemorrhage but it was small and it healed. :)

 Awwww, how cute! Im so happy for you  for such a good news ! Its not going to be long untill we are all waiting our little ones to be born :) Yay! Im a bit jealous that you got to see your little man.... I have planned to go to 4d scan when Im about 30 weeks, I have had the 4d with all my kids and its just amazing to see the chubby cheeks and little hands.... cant wait!
