2 months in a row... No +opk... :(

Once again my cervix is closed and firm and no +opk. The past week it has been really open and soft but no ewcm. Could it be diet? Supps? I haven't been on birth controll for years and haven't had any supps which delay O, just calcium, cranberry and magnesium. Last month I thought it was because I over did it on peppermint tea but haven't touched it this month. Could it be excessive asoartame maybe?? I just don't know and it's really getting me down :( has this happened to anyone? Would love any advice :(

Maybe it might be worth having a visit to your gp? I was diagnosed with pcos a few months back, and my gp knew we wanted one more baby so she said I could have "Ovulation Tracking" done through a local fertility clinic. It's series of blood tests that are definitve in whether or not you have ovulated. They did it for nothing because it was bulk billed. I have been for 3 cycles so far and it is really helpful.. Maybe you could have something like this done so as you can get a definite answer as to if you are or are not ovulating ?

It sounds like you are, but I guess i don't know if your body goes through the motions (such as cp changing), even if you don't actually ovulate. You could also have an U/S done, as they sometimes do this for women who have uncertain ovulation patterns...

Hi ZenaniZolalya, The same thing is happening to me. The beginning of last year I started swaying and out of the six months I only ovulated two months which is not like me at all because I use a fertility monitor anyway each month even when I am not ttc and every month I ovulate except when I started ttc. After six months I had enough and had a break and before long I started getting the ovulation sign back on my monitor. I have now been on the diet and ttc again for the last two months. The first month my ovulation was delayed and like you put it down to peppermint tea so decided to stop drinking it and just do the diet and supps now the last month I was going for frequent BD and for the whole month I never got an ovulation sign :( so presuming I never ovulated again. It is really hard going when you have been doing the diet and monitoring AF and then you don't ovulate. I am wondering if the diet can stop certain people ovulating although I dont understand it because I haven't lost that much weight. AF is due tomorrow so praying that next month I ovulate. Will also be trying OPKs as well next month to see if they pick up.....Sorry I can't give any advice but wanted to let you know you are not the only one this is happening to. What cycle day are you on this month? Will let you know how i get on this month.

Going through the same thing here.... Questioning everything I'm doing to sway and whether or not I feel it's why I'm not getting pregnant. I have been soon the diet, supps etc since feb and am now getting a little worn out. I have lost a lot of weight. When AF showed up again I started to think about cutting out a few things (? Aspartame being one of them) thinking that my ph is too low??? Hard to know but I know how feeling and wish you luck for your next attempt

wow that happened to me when i was swaying too. i can get pregnant from drinking after my husband but while i was swaying sometimes i didn't O. maybe it was the suppliments or diet? not that it mattered, the swaying didn't work anyway.

Sorry I haven't replied. I've been disheartened about the whole swaying thing. I mean if i'm doing all this work swaying and it's making me infertile whats the point? I've been reading the 'sway attempts' and soooo many people who seem to have the strongest sways have failed. Someone I was conversing with on here looked through the sways and said only 60% of people were successful. And the people who haven't put up results probably were too dissapointed to say they failed. I spoke to my gyno and he said it ia no wonder I am not ovulating being on such a rediculous and strict diet. He said that due to websites like this one it is no wonder infertility is on the rise. Alot of his patients have tried similar strategies and they have come out 50/50 in the end and he has been an obs/gyno for nearly 30 years! So i'm skipping the diet and just avoiding the obvious things like beef, potatos, salt etc and will try for o+12. Good luck everyone :)

zenani, do you not see a temp shift? Or how do you nkow you arent ovulating? you could be missing positive opks?

I am in complete shock... I am pregnant!!
