Expecting third boy... but still feels like I should be having a girl

my baby's heart is fast too. i got the boy ultrasound without telling my midwife. she said it's a girl's heart rate, but it did not confuse me @ all. my ultrasound was done @ 20 weeks and more than obvious. his heart is always beating fast because he is very active. wonderful, that's what i need: an active son # 3!!!!

lol... it's nice knowing i'm not the only one.  love hearing everyone elses stories. tulips- with ds1+2 it was sweet stuff... great skin.... with this DS3- salty stuff and coke... bad skin. maybe a reflection of what i'm eating??!!!??

both heart rates for DS1+2 below 140... this one above 146.... usually above 150.

 Tummy DS1+2- small in front... medium height. DS3- small... however starting to get big quick now... round... and kicking my ribs already!!

Tis a boy... and I feel so much better now that i have that perfect willy shot! He's got BIG feet and he gave me the thumbs up too! :P got to love it!

Tickleme, that is definitely a boy, so glad that you got a certain answer this time. I would do anything to see that shot on my U/S but i think there is no way a willy ll grow up from there according to that pic.  But i don t know why i still have a silly hope that dr ll say "surprise it s a boy!" Just like a good dream. 

 

Wen I was preg with no.3 I knew he was a boy (not confirmed - kept it as a surprise) gut instinct told me it was but everytime I pictured the baby it was always a girl?? - out popped a boy!! V odd..

Juust looking back annd realising how far I've come.... my beautiful boy is 6months and my house of boys is wonderful. no regrets... all love! Thank-you t all the beautiful supportive people on here. It's nice to know other people "get it" and together we can get through it. it kinda feels silly those feelings i had. they were real and hurtful at the time... but i simply couldnt see the big picture of what a wonderful blessing this baby is... i see it now... and i'm so happy n grateful.

Lovely post, I'm due my third in Dec 2012. I won't know the gender until the end of July! I am trying to get myself used to the idea of 3 little boys and I genuinely think I'll be ok! But as the pregnancy goes on you do get these hopes for the opposite gender that didn't seem as important when you started out, and don't once the baby is born. I think being hormonal magnifies any feelings we have. Your post is lovely, and will help get me excited to meet our third baby regardless:)

Awww glad to hear you are doing great! Hopefully I will be there next year. I am still going through the denial and hoping mine is one of the wrong ones even though I know what I saw on the screen. She would not print out any potty shots for us so of course I keep dreaming that I was wrong. I know she checked 3 times though and every time I saw the dangle between his legs I had to look away because I couldn't stand to see it. 

When I startet out I didn't think it would be so hard being pregnant with a boy again. I thought as long as I sway I know I've tried and I will be happy either way. But when we found out it was a boy I was devastated. I thought it would get better, but lately it just seems to get worse again. I'm due in 5 weeks and just have to get my act together. It's good reading this post and I really hope I can read my posts in 6-7 months and just feel blessed with what I've got.

Goodluck ladies. In your posts you can already feel the love you have for your baby boys.... it will magnify once they are here and in your arms. Admittedly I get snagged with that desire for a girl every now and then. Concidering how good I've been, since this post I got a jab of it again. It's good being able to talk it out with some lovely supportive online friends from this site. I love my boys so much... and that desire for a girl isnt to do with NOT wanting a boy... it's just wanting a little from both worlds. I'm sure you girls can relate. But its pretty incredible.... the things they can do together, bond over... I'm thankful for that. You can see my ds3 just busting to get involved with my eldest 2. Goodluck ladies.
