Baby eyes

 I have daughter she is 3 months old , she was born with little darkest blue eyes and now the color is more open blue.. me and my husband have brown eyes. From hims family only him grandfather has blue eyes. From mine - my mom has green , my brother blue and my grandmother blue eyes. What do you think , the eyes will `stay` blue? When we were at doctor we asked her and she said that her eyes will stay blue :)

Of course this isnt very important but i would like she to have different eyes :) 

At 3 month old I would think that her eyes will be blue. Ive heard of hair color and skin color changing as late as 3 or 4 years, but ive never heard of eye color changing past the newborn stage. Her eyes are gorgeous by the way!

Eye colour can change up until about 9 months of age...so it is a case of wait and see. Hope they stay blue for you xx

My Daughter was born with the most beautiful bright blue eyes i'd ever seen, she is 4 next month and she now has green eyes like her dad. DD2 is 21 months and has beautiful bright blue eyes too but i'm not getting my hopes up with them staying that way!

 My oldest son just turned 8 and his eyes are in the process right now of going from blue-ish to green..  My 6 yr olds are starting to go a greenish color now too..

Mine still change colors.. with my mood or the clothes I am wearing.. But they are mainly green. My DH has green eyes too.

My 5 mo old has the most pretty blue eyes and I hope they stay that way, but I know they won't. Sucks. Lol

My dd1 was born with darker blue eyes and they never brightened up t all.. Around 3 they began to change to a vivid green just like mine! Dd2 was born with these ice blue colored eyes, like a huskie dog, they still look that way. I love when I take her pcs in natural light cause they shine! Funny side story... My dd1, who is a very observant and literal person, has always said "daddy and Baylor have blue eyes, me and mommy have green eyes, and axle has brown eyes (our dog), so if we have another baby I hope he has brown eyes cause then axle won't be left out" LOL

dd1&6 have blue eyes, dd2 has green eyes, dd4 brown eyes.. dd3 did have blue up until this year! ( she's 7) suddenly they just changed to green. i can't tell with ds1 yet, his blood vessels in his eyes popped during birth from the tight squeeze so the poor thing has red eyes right now but i think they might be brown.

Newbaby- DD2 had scleral bruises too, so sad! They went away at about 6 weeks

they are starting to clear up.. right on time i guess, he's 6 weeks old!

my oldest daughter was born with blue eyes, its common for white babies to be born with blue eyes that will change slowly over the next few months, it took about a year before my daughters eyes changed from blue to the colour that they are now which is a mix of green and brown with just a tiny fleck of blue and even gold in them. i call them rainbow eyes! her father has hazel eyes and mine are blue, my other two daughters are from my current husband and since he has blue eyes (as do i) they too have blue eyes. i have heard that eye colour can skip a generation or even two. so because the grandparents having blue eyes its quite possible that your baby may keep them, but i do think they might change still.
