Anyone with 100% girl nub guesses then having a boy?

hi ladies, I have 3 weeks until my gender scan and I think as the scan gets closer I get more amd more nervous. I have had all girl guesses from my 12week nub shot which I think has made it even harder to think about what if its a boy.

Sometimes I think it would have been easier not to have gotten a good nub shot. Before my 12 week scan I was abot 90% convinced I was having a boy and I was ok with that. Now with the nub out for all to see I have got all my hopes up again and I thought I was over the sex of this bubs.

So my question is how many people are out there have had or know of anyone who has had 100% girl nub guesses then went on to have a boy?

How good are we really at nub guessing? Not many of us are proffessionals after all. I had no techs guess on my nub either...

Any stories out there I would love to hear, I think it will help to bring me back down from the clouds and help come to terms that I could be having another boy again...

Melbelle - I don't know the answers to your question, but I am really curious too, as I go in for my NT scan on friday and hoping to get some nub shots!  I hope it works out for you!  PLEASE keep me updated :)

I have an elective scan booked for when I am 17 weeks (was too scared of an incorrect guess to have it any earlier) so 19 days and counting. We haven't told anyone IRL about this scan so if it does turn out to be a boy I can choose when I am ready to tell. Everyone else is already counting down until I'm 19 weeks and have my sceduled anatomy scan.

I really hate to respond to ur question but feel like I must. I don't wanna bring ya down but I did have all but 1 girl guesses on my nub and it turned out to be a boy. I was hoping for a boy so this outcome was great for me. I had prepared to hear girl after all the nub guesses and think I would have taken it well had that been the case. I had 100% boy guesses on my classic looking boy nub and my baby is a GIRL!  So you never know...It's not 100% and it is guessing so hopefully it will go the direction you are hoping for! GL

 hate to say this but...yeah me. my second DS got all except one girl guesses, everyone was convinced, but he was hiding an acorn in there somewhere xx

I have seen some opposites but I have seen many more accurate predictions. I got 100% girl guesses on my DD's 12 week nub and my now almost 1 year old daughter is sleeping in her crib atm. Good luck! =)

Thanks girls, i know you all think it would be hard to hear about your experiences but it was exactly what I need. I wanted some real cases that would help me back to a neutral place.

I think I will be more than ok with another baby boy but all of a sudden got my hopes up it was a girl. I think every day since my 12 week scan I have been getting closer back to my happy boy phase.

It's funny how we all obsess whether it looks like our baby's nub is pointing the way we want it to or not.  I had all boy guesses for my nub and am holding on to the small chance that it could still be a girl.  I tell myself it's only from a photo and not from a live scan (sonographer wouldn't guess) and maybe it's not actually the nub and even if it is maybe it'll be one of those opposite nubs.  And then I measured the angle and because of the curve of the spine think it's really hard to tell if it's actually 30 degrees and seems actually less which makes it an in-betweener which maybe means more likely to be a girl?  But then why did everyone guess boy?

 Anyway, I hope you do get your girl!  As much as I'd love to believe the opposite, it does seem like the women here do know what they are talking about.

I know the odds of another boy after 3 is high I'm just hoping my sway (and it was a pretty good one - not perfect but good) changed my odds back to 50/50. That was my aim right from the start.

Again thank you for your stories and I am sorry you didn't end up with your DG but still have some wonderful healthy babies and that is all of our first priority. first and formost we wanted another baby not a daughter I just swayed so that I know deep in my heart that I did all I could possibly do and if ds4 comes along then I know I won't have any what ifs...
