Due on Christmas Day!

Hi everyone!  I am due on December 25, 2011.  I just got my BFP at 11 DPO and I am going to the doctor tomorrow to have another blood draw to ensure my levels are rising.  I have a 15 month old son and we are praying for PINK this time!  Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

 Congrats!! My daughter will be 8 months old then. Wow!!!! Maybe you'll have your little one on my birthday, the 20th!! :)

Congrats from a December 2010 Mama!  So exciting to see the cycle continue.    Praying all the mamas on the board have a H&H 9 months.  Looking forward to wathcing your pregnancies progress and meeting your little bundles in December!

 I too am due on Christmas Day!  This will be our third.. and SO hoping for a girl!  We have 2 boys now.  We did the Shettles method & have all fingers and toes crossed! Santa better be nice to us this year!

M2M--we did Shettles for a girl also!  It was inadvertent though as we were not trying to conceive this early.  We had a 3 day cut off and were taking cranberry, calcium, and magnesium supps for several weeks beforehand.  Did you have any other sway factors?  And what kind of cut off did you have?

I too took Magnesuim, Cranberry, and a probiotic.  When i could stomach it I also took a mucus tablet.. but they were NASTY!  DH took calcuim, but not regularly.  I ate a lot of fruits.. but didn't go the full on girl diet as it seemed WAY too unhealthy to do for an extended time.  We tried for 4 months and stopped 4 days prior to ovulation each time.  (Which we think is what too so long!) :)  We also did either spooning or missionary positions for shallow penetration and he pulled ALMOST out each time to make them swim! ha ha 

idk what well get.. but we gave it our best shot with what we though was safe swaying.  The diet seemed to risky to my personal health and the douching seemed like it could cause some issues down there!  Not the way too start a pregnancy we figured.  

You and I have similar thought processes I believe.  I didn't do the douching either because I just wasn't 100% 'sure' about it.  You sound like you had a good natural sway.  I didn't really follow any of the diet as we were not trying to get pregnant just yet, so I had not done the research on it like I wanted to.

Have you had any feelings about what you are having so far?  I keep going back and forth.  Maybe I think 'boy' so that I won't be disappointed if it really is a boy!

I am thinking girl as this time I have a few different symptoms.. like my breasts are actually growing this time!  That has never happened! :) I am also MUCH more fatigued this time around.  Doesn't mean anything in particular.. but I decided that I can pretend/dream it's a girl until told otherwise!  I can not wait for August to find out!!!  I'll likely cray like a baby if it's another biy as I'm 99% sure it's our last baby.  But, you get hwat you get and your adore them either way, right! :) 

I was much more tired this time around too.  I was never nauseated with DS, only tired from time to time.  This time, I was WAY more worn out...although that could have something to do with my 1 year old running around the house now.  August seems so far away, but I bet the time will go quick!  I have my NT scan in 2 days, so I am anxious to get a glimpse of some kind of nub.  Best of luck to you, let me know how it turns out!

And YES you adore them either way!  I thought I wanted a girl the first time around--but I wouldn't trade my little man for anything!

 SO.. i had my 20 week ultrasound TODAY.  AND>>> IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!! 

 SHE will be our third baby, only girl!  I'm now officially a believer in Shettles.  My first was conceived on ovulation, my second we stopped just 2 days prior (not firm beleivers) and this baby GIRL we stopped 4 days prior!  Took us a looong while to get pregnant with her, but obviously worth the wait!   I'm SO excited i can hardly stand it!  The tech checked 3x to make sure, even looked in front under the umbilical cord to make SURE nothing boyish was "hiding".  The more she looked the clearer the pictures were.  FINALLY A GIRL!!!
