My tech was not familiar with the nub theory, I brought my u/s from my 11 week Nuchal and showed her the very clear nub - seriously, it was a gorgeous shot of it - just way too early to be useful - and she was still very dismissive of it, she said I was looking at bone because it was white. At any rate, she did not look at the profile, and the few times I was able to spot the nub, the baby was upside down. For whatever reason I didn't push to try getting a shot from that angle. She also hadn't heard of the Ramzi theory and was adamant that my placenta was completely posterior and she couldn't say if it was on the left or right. She is certified with 15 years experience, but "old school"
