HRC in May/June?

I too will be cycling in May/June with Dr P. Have received my calender and i go in for ER on 8th June. Getting nervous and excited at the same time.

Good to see someone along at the same time. When is your ER?

Baby Girl aged 8 yrsaged 3 yrsaged 1.5yrs Pray Baby Boy

Cycle 1 @HRC -started stimms on 5/26/11, ER- 14 eggs retrieved, 6 mature and 5 fertilized & went for GSN all came back abnormal, so no transfer Sad

Cycle2@HRC- ER 30 eggs,24 mature, 21 fertlized only 1 normal xy transfered but BFN

Cycle 3@Genesis with sperm sorting- started with Lupron depot single dose on 06/04/12. stimms - gonal-f -300 from 20/04/12.ER on 04/05/12. 16 eggs retrieved,12 fertilized,4 healthy Baby Boy . 2 hatched blastocyst transfered on 09/05/12. froze 2 embies.

B-HCG -10dp5dt-17.4- BFP ,13dp5dt-9.9 Worried

Hey ladies

im looking to cycle with hrc in july/august of this year. Can you help me??

Where do i start? I have emailed HRC to try and book a consultation with DR P. How quickly do they repsond? How easy is it to start scan meds etc here in the uk?

Also how much are you budgeting for a complete cycle including theatre costs etc whilst your out their. where will you be staying and what airport will you be flying into?

They are very good in communication. I always rcvd a reply within 24-48 hrs (depending which day i send my query)

We have budgeted for 1 cycle and got a discount of 1000usd(IG member) and have kept a budget of USD 17k.(with hotels, flights, sight seeing, and the cycle expense)

have booked the Laguna hills(can check the priceline.com or booking.com site) they give a better rate/discount then the hotel itself.so saved few dollars in that.

we are taking flight to SNA(Orange County) which is near to Laguna Hills.hope this helps.

Hi thanks for the quick response!! I got a few more questions if you dont mind.

Who did you do pretest/scans with and who provided your meds and at what cost?

So 17k USD should cover a complete cycle inlcuding flights accomodation and any fees for theatre whilst at the clinic? this is about £10.500 GBP.

Is laguna hills a hotel close to the clinic? do you have the link? will they provide collection to and from the airport?

How about you? I don't have my meds yet because I'm still waiting on some final blood/ultrasound results before Dr.Potter decides on a protocol. Getting excited though!

Hi justonelittlefairy, sorry I can't be more helpful to you, but I'm in Australia, so our costs for flights etc will be different, as will our monitoring locations. I'm planning to stay with family in LA, so I'm flying into LAX. Laguna Hills is the clinic where Dr Potter works from. Lori will be able to suggest accommodation options for you, and possibly transport too. Good luck!

Yay for May! My final ultrasound @ HRC happens to fall on my birthday, so I'm taking it as a positive sign! Will you be staying in Laguna Hills? When will you be flying over? Let's keep in touch so we can share our stories, hopefully both with happy endings!
