Doxycycline anyone?

My husband took zithromax, one dose and I took doxycycline because I am allergic to zithromax and I had to take the doxy for 10 days too twice daily. We took them before we start stim. The doxy hurt my stomach because they want you to take it without food, but I had to have one cracker or fruit or jello.

Oh good, maybe you have a different dosage and so it's ok to take with food. Mine had a warning label that said take the med one hour before food or two hours after food. When I asked my ob, she said if I must, then just have a liitle bit of fruit when my stomach really bothered me. I was miserable for that 10 days!

I was on the antagonist protocol, 200iu Follistim and 75 menupur and then added in Cetrotide to prevent early ovulation. I think the antagonist protocol is a slower way to grow the eggs, I only got 10 eggs and a few others that I know on the same protocol got about the same as me. But I'm glad it worked out and I was really tripping while stimming because I was expecting more eggs but my dr was so calm and so sure that my number of eggs will be fine to do GSN so I didn't push to change anything.
