This is VERY disappointing news, but it doesn't mean things won't still turn out okay. There are many girls on here over the years who have been lucky enough to get their boy or girl out of very few embryos. I will be crossing my fingers for you that it's a successful thaw. I'm sorry you had to get this bad news this week - I know you were hoping to stay calm and clueless until Friday. :(

I know you are down- but I sent only 4 to PGD/ GSN and got 1 normal girl and 2 normal boy and am now 10 weeks pregnant with my daughter. ( and I know you think that you are not lucky, but I always thought that I could never be so lucky but here we are). Hang in there love.

I am so sorry, I really feel for you because on my last cycle I only had one out of 6 fertilize. Absoulute worst lowest feeling! You want to scream at the Dr through the phone right? I feel your pain! I wouldn't lose hope though because for me that one was a normal female. You never know what can happen, hang in there.

Exactly! What the F*^K?!?! We added in Menopur this cycle; won't be doing that again! :-)

Just going to see if any survive the thaw, send whatever's left to PGD, and figure it out from there. Thanks for all the support ladies!

Starting IVF/PGD for a little girl on 5/26/2010

IVF 1: right ovary inaccessible, no transfer (no normal females out of 4 embies)
IVF2: cancelled: severe allergic reaction to Lupron
IVF3: no normal females out of 5 embies
IVF4: 7 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized - frozen to batch PGD with last cycle
IVF5: 7 eggs retrieved, 1 fertilized. Fresh + frozen to PGD = TWO HEALTHY FEMALES! Transfer 3/11, BFN
IVF6: 6 eggs retrieved, 3 eggs fertilized = ONE healthy female! BFN
IVF7: 1 egg retrieved! :-(, fertilized - frozen to batch PGD with *last* cycle
IVF8: 5 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized, 3 grew, batched with frozen = ONE healthy female! Transfer 3/4/12 - BFP!!!
