Walker is long and big. he is in the 90th percentile for lenght, 75th for weight and 95 (wow) for head circumference. I'm not as worried about his as I was with my daughter because she was behind in a lot of milestones too. I DO UNDERSTAND each baby is different, I just want to feel better along with someone.

And to all-your babies are amazingly beautiful. WOW.

My son hasn't gotten teeth yet (his sister got them at 14 months!)

My son rolled over ONCE (from tummy to back)

He does not crawl or sit up very well. Although he is getting better

On a positive note, he is the happiest baby I have ever seen. Smiling, giggling, and just plain happy. His sis was the same way. Hearts

Hi Quiggs!!!! It's so good to see a familiar poster Happy Smile.

How much is Walker weighing? Mia is 18lbs 2 oz. !!!!! That was Friday at her check up. She is in the 90th percent for length and 75th for head circ. DS1 had a head proportiontely larger than his body but eventually his body grew into it Happy Giggle. He was also a late starter for eeeeeverything. He sat up by himself at 8 months, crawled at 10 m and walked at a whopping 15 months! I remember always being worried about it  but he turned out awesome. He is super smart and just a great kid. I think maybe boys are a bit later at starting things ?? IDK....its prob. just my kids.

Mia has no teeth (boys got first teeth at 7 months).

She just started sitting up alone last week.

She rolls over pretty good

She talks A LOT!!! Its awesome to just listen to her laugh and babble and then she tells her brother's off in her own little baby babble..it's so cute. I'm just having a blast with the 3 of them.

Dont worry about Walker...they all need their time like you said. Just enjoy it all 'cause when he does walk....then there is no going back Confused Huh?. And time truly flies. He's just taking his sweet time, mama Hearts

YAY! I have never been one to say my kid did something FIRST that's for sure. :) I'm not AS worried with Walker (he weighed 19.1 lbs at his 6 month check up) because his sister was a little behind, but now you wouldn't know. Good to hear from you!! You'll haev to let me know when Mia gets her teeth :) :) Walker probably won't get any until after 12 months if he's anything like his sister.

Just sit back and enjoy this!! All 3 of my kids were pretty early at everything...my son even walking shortly after 8 months. On the flip side, none of them were very easy/happy/content babies. I wonder if some of this had to do with their urge to do a lot of these milestones before they were physically able to (if that makes sense). IMO, some babies are just happy being babies while others are in a race for toddlerhood. I also wonder if the big head circumference makes these physical things a little more difficult? My kids were all 25-50% HC. Moreover, I SO wished I would've had a late teether. Not only does this make for better teeth, but I think it helps them sleep better early on. Evie has 4 teeth now at 7 months and 2 on the way....sleeping is horrible and she seems in a lot of discomfort.

Ah i wouldnt worry one bit! DD1 was what i would call 'later' at doing things! she was 6 months when she sat up, she was crawling at 10 months, walking at 15 months and i don't actually think she ever rolled over untill she was crawling!

DD2 is 6 months old and weighs a dinky 14lb 8oz! She is very long though! She isn't sitting up yet, she can roll both ways and she has her two bottom teeth. She is trying to get up on her knees into the crawling position too. I wouldnt worry about your little man at all Happy Giggle my girls couldn't be anymore different!

Hearts to your post. It's weird to me to see a baby with teeth before a year old. :) I know it should be the other way around! My daughter didn't get them until 14 mos old and then she had a lot from what I remember. I don't remember her being too unhappy about it either. Thanks for you info. He JUST sat up all on his own today and I did a happy dance. Rolled over a few more times too. It's crazy how fast they grow!

I think there are pros and cons. Your children probably didn't spend close to THREE YEARS in diapers like my daughter did! I was worried I'd pack them to kindergarten (haha-jokes). Just wanted to give you a CON of having a wonderful child take their time on things. :)

Hi Vicky! It is so good to hear from you. I hope your little girls are doing wonderfully. Can you believe over a year ago we were pregnant? Time flies. I remember the posts were like "ahhh! I hope s/he comes soon! I can't take it!" Now we are like "ack! They are growing too fast. Make it stop!". Hearts your way, I hope you're doing grand.

Leo is also a little Goliath.. off the charts in height, not even 95th anymore and 95th for weight.  That means.. he hasn't learned anything about mobility.  Sitting up.. yes, but I have to be close or pile pillows around so he doesn't hurt himself.  Just got his first tooth YESTERDAY (will be 7 months in 3 days) and DH is worried he's behind.  Well.. maybe, but who cares?  He appears to be smart enough, attentive, playful.. just maybe lazy.  With two other boys to chase after, I'm okay if this one wants to take it slow!  HAHA.  Im not ready to babyproof.
