Also was reading in another post that it goes by time of conception not by when we DTD..Is their anyway to have control of that?  Or do we stay as close to the boy/girl sign and hope it implants within 21/2 days before it changes signs?  

To check what moon sign you will O in, have a look on Lunarium. Go to calendars, then universal lunar calendar. It will tell you the exact date and time it changes, so you can plan ahead. Do OPKs leading up to O, and if you are going to O in boy time (and not just before it changes to a girl moon) then BD for that month. You will always need to adjust the times/dates given on Lunarium to where you live as the times are in London time.

Yes, it the moment of conception that is important, which is of course difficult to predict exactly. However, we know it can occur very soon after O, and the egg can only last for about 24 hours after O, so you want to BD in a month where you O in boy time and it is not just about to change to girl time.

Jan is not far away (hooray). Hopefully it will all end up being a good month for us. My attempt will be right at the end of Jan. And I'm more than happy to help. I want all of us to end up with our dream baby.

Hi Augustbaby. Firstly let me say that when I did your astro calendar I used the 5th of Jan as your DOB as I think you write it the American way! If this is wrong, let me know as it will alter your calendar.

Ok, so you are due to have a lunar O in a girl moon on the 25th of Jan. After that you don't have another definite lunar O in girl time until the 19th of August. The reason so many months don't show a gender sign is that your lunar O occurs very close to a change of moons, so a gender is too hard to predict.

You may still be able to TTC a girl with your menstrual O on any of the months, but you will need to work out if you are going to O in a girl moon. Look on Lunarium to see when times and dates change. (I have written a bit about this in the previous post). If you decide you want to TTC with your lunar O in Jan, let me know, as I will try and give some suggestions to help.

By the way, my mum had 3 boys and then me, so it can happen!

Augustbaby, if you want to TTC for lunar O on 25th Jan, then the 3 days prior to this are considered increasingly fertile. The 22nd, 23rd and 24th are all good days to BD, but you must make sure you at least BD on the 24th. BD 24hours prior to your lunar O triggers the O and means the sperm will be waiting for the egg so conception can occur in the desired girl moon. You don't try O+12 with your lunar O as you want to make sure conception occurs in the right moon.

Is your menstrual O due around the same time in Jan or quite separate? If you know what date it might be, you can look on Lunarium to see what moon phase you are likely to be in, so you could potentially TTC twice in the month. If your menstrual O is due in a boy moon then I would avoid that month to TTC with your menstrual O. I think the easiest way to check that you will O in the right moon is to do OPKs leading up to your O. Once you get a +ve OPK, you know you will O in the next 2 days, so you can see what moon you would be in and decide if it is a good month.

After  being on supps and diet...my cycle has changed...thought i'll be more in contro but its the other way round!
