Dr. Potter what is your opinion on choosing to do mini-IVF instead of doing a normal IVF cycle? Isn't it half the price at HRC? Also, I heard that you have healthier, better quality eggs because there are less? We are going to cycle with you in August/September but we fear we are going to have 16 eggs left over and we only want one maybe two, but we don't want to waste our money on a mini-iVF cycle if the odds of conceiving are much lower. I will be 28 and I have three healthy girls and haven't had any trouble getting pregnant. So much to think about...... AHHHHHH!!!!!! :) Hope you are having a great weekend.... Take Care.... Thank you for your time.

Mini-IVF can be a great option for patients that are very young but it is going to be less cost effective than regular IVF with PGD-24 (GSN). At your age, mini-IVF could be considered along with 2-probe PGD. Implantation rate with 2-probe is less that when we screen the embryos with GSN though (50% vs. 70+%)
