Hello... Would it be a problem if I ended up pregnant soo soon after a C Section... I had a C Section Nov 1st but I lost my daughter after only 4 hours of living and I think I may be pregnant again... I wanted to get pregnant again because I feel so empty and I am so sad, I think I would be much happier with my baby.... Just wanted to know if anyone got pregnant sooo soon after a C Section and how did it go.... Thank you! :)

So sorry to hear about your loss. Sending hugs your way. Hugs Violet

I've had 2 c-sections and my doc says he prefers me waiting at least 6 months before conceiving again, but has said he has seen it sooner than that with no problem. Once you find out for sure, you should call your doc right away. Good luck and keep us posted.

I just posted a similar response to Angelphoenix as she is in your same situation, but when I lost my daughter 25 days after birth (I had a C-section also) I got pregnant two and a half months after she was born.  I gave birth to a healthy baby boy 11 months after she was born.  My doctor did not let me go into labor, so I had another c-section with my son at 38 weeks.  There was no option to VBAC.  Anyway, my doctor did advise me to wait 6 months, but I couldn't wait, I wanted to be pregnant again, I am glad we did not wait.  I am very sorry for your loss.

I conceived 4 months after my DS2 and all was fine.  It was probably harder emotionally to be on the theatre table so soon but physically no different really. The docs have been my concerned with the 4th c/s and not at all with the close gap!
