4 girls & then a boy....is there anyone out there???

Just wanna know if I should still have hope of having a boy. So who has had 4 girls and then a boy as #5??? Also, was swaying involved, high tech intervention, or just luck on your side?

Hi there ! I had first 1 boy, then 4 girls and 2 failed swaying attempts for a boy in 2008 and 2009. Last year we decided to stop swaying, we didn't try anymore diets and we were ready to welcome any gender, but probably luck was on our side and today we have a 3 weeks old baby boy :) I wish you all the best and hope you'll get the gender you wish :) hugs from Europe

hey backpacker, i hope you're enjoying your new baby boy. I want to be like you and have 3 more kids consecutively preferably 3 boys as I have two girls already. Did you plan on your pregnancies and what was the hardest part of raising kids who are all year apart? When are you next ttc?

well i used to believe in swaying until i noticed so many failed attempts. i have come to the conclusion that if we ever have a boy it will be because of help from high tech or purely luck. i'm certainly not going to put all my trust into just swaying. congrats on your newest little one! wow u are a brave women to have 6 kids so close in age!

Hi, I know of only one family that has 4 dd's then went on to have a son. They didn't sway or do HT, infact, they were quite shocked that they got pregnant as they were using bc and weren't planning on having anymore. Needless to say they were thrilled to get their baby boy.  Most of they families that I know that have all the same gender usually stop at three or four, most cannot aford to have more and most that are honest say they are afraid of having boy #4 or boy #5, girl #4 etc. I live in a neighborhood that has 4 boys and both women have said they just couldn't handle 5 boys so they stopped.  I am not sure if I believe that swaying works for all, but it seems to work for some. GL.

YES! keep us posted! hopefully u get a boy. will this be your last? we will be TTC #5(our last) around summer 2012.

I'm not 100% to be honest. We currently have 5 girls all up (4 of our own plus foster DD) so technically this will be the 6th child in the home :O

I definately want one more child and would consider another after that - oh I am crazy!!!!????? hehe
