Do you add anything?

I'm a plain janer. I add nothing and love it this way. My friend adds (lots of) sugar and she loves it that way (I don'tYuck).

So just wondering what people add to their fresh whipped cream? If anything.

I just googled it and it looks like it would be your "confectioners sugar" or "icing sugar".  Does that sound right?

I like mine plain, but I always add a bit of sugar for DH.

I've added different flavors like lemon or lime for different desserts.  Oh, and I once threw some cream and sugar in a saucepan and added some coffee beans.  I brought it up to temp to let the coffee flavor soak in.  Then I cooled it and made whipped cream from that.  I don't remember what I used it for, but I remember it was a big hit.

Yes, you are right, icing sugar! Hmmm, never tried that. Might be more subtle than normal sugar. DB, you have tried some interesting twists with cream! Lemon/lime sounds nice (with the right food!).

I add a little vanilla to it ..Depending on what I'm making I'll add coco power for chocolate whipped cream, strawberry jelly , mint extract .. I add a lot of things depending on what the whipped cream is for
