I think you've still got a surprise coming. Although, I do wish that both the tech and your dh wouldn't have been discussing things like that at all cause it does make you think.
I've got a surprise due in March, and the tech has been really good about not giving away any clues at all. I don't even know if she actually knew the gender or not. Dh went with me to the last u/s (at 24 wks), and he said for one split-second he thought he saw boy parts, but then realized she was up by the head. LOL It still had me all worked up! I kept asking, "Do you really think you saw boy parts?! If you did I NEED to know!" I wish he hadn't of said anything at all either.
But, I've been so vigilant "watching" during my u/s trying to spot a penis. It's weird. I don't want the tech to tell me the gender, but if there is a penis there I do kind of want to know now just so that I am fully prepared for that at the delivery. At this point for us though, it's completely 50/50.
Also, at my last doc apt, the nurse sort of got me questioning too. She asked, "So, you're not finding out what you're having this time right?" And I said, "No." And then she asked, "What do you have already?" And I replied, "3 boys!" And she just smiled and said, "hmmmm..." And of course, I'm sitting there wondering, "Does she know something?" Cause she was just looking at my chart, and I wondered if u/s report had gender written on there even though I never saw the tech go to that part.
Oh the mind tricks of GREEN TEAM!!!
GOOD LUCK!!! I hope it all turns out just the way you hope it will!!!
