Nah i bought one off ebay for about $80 - hiring costs way too much! and it works great! They have heaps of them being sold on there. You just have to make sure they are FDA approved (which majority are) and get a 3mhz probe. Its so exciting! I listened to it again today. Your not meant to be able to hear it until 10 weeks so i was so surprised to find it so early! It helps to have a full bladder and scan just on/right above the pubic bone.
