Can I insert a Diva cup right after BD as long as I test my Phlevel before inserting?

I am still very confused with the Diva cup...SO I insert after I DTD and check my PH and do a lime douche is necessary. And if I plan to do a cutoff I need to take the Diva cup out every 1/2 hour to check my PH level?....

If someone could give me a very detailed explanation on the Diva cup I would really appreciate it :) I understand everything else except this Diva cup thing!

cut off you check every hour and lower as needed. diva cup is needed at night if you are not planing on waking up. so for cut off you would do your attempt, keep yoru pH low every hour till bed, then diva lime douche for night (unless you keep testing) and keep doing this till you O

Hi Tamara, Firstly i want to say thank you for everything you do for us ladies here on the site, im fairly new to it but try to get on when i can, planning to TTC DD late 2012 early 2013. Just wanted to ask about the diva cup, above you mention "cut off" im a little confused cut off refers to husband abstaining from ejaculating for a few weeks etc until you dtd am i correct? just not sure why it matters if they abstain or not wouldnt you still be best to insert diva cup no matter what after dtd to lower ph? im sorry if this is a silly question, thank you!
