PROGESTERONE- how long should I wait for a BFP?

I'M SO CONFUSED!!!

I'm using progesterone cream and I've heard it may delay or stop my period?? how many dpo's or days do you normally wait for a positive before stopping cream and bringing on your period.I was going to wait a few days after period normally comes but keep reasing about people not getting a BFP till much later.My lp is usually 11 but trying to lengthen with progesterone.

HELP!

 I use progesterone for just under two weeks-- this makes my days post ovulation/ insemination 14,  Then at 14 days if negative I stop the progesterone and my period usually starts in a couple of days.  I figure that if I am pregnant and I test positive after a couple of days I can then start again for as long as they tell me I need it.

Me too, I usually get it 2-3 days after I stop using the cream.
